Starring Peter Moon and Evelyn Krape, The Housekeeper will be performed at Redland Performing Arts Centre on Saturday, August 4, at 7.30pm. The fast-paced comedy is about a middle-aged bachelor and the eccentric bag lady he hires as a housekeeper. Moon plays the rather stuffy and self-styled literary artist Manley Carstairs, who has lived at home with his rich, domineering mother until her recent death. Newly alone and floundering, he hires a housekeeper, Annie Dankworth (Krape). Their relationship progresses rapidly from initial reserve to fierce combat.
