Terms and Conditions
HOW TO ENTER
 
Promotion commences 9:00am AEST 12/07/2012 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 13/08/2012 (“Promotional Period”). In order to enter the promotion, individuals must follow the prompts on the Competition tab of the official Door Buster competition page: http://www.doorbuster.com.au/competition.
 
Entrants will be required to input the requested details including their first name, last name, email address, , and “tell us when Door Buster ships ”, and submit the fully completed entry form between 9:00am AEST 09/7/12 and 11:59pm AEST 06/08/12  during the promotional period. Between 9:00am AEST and 5:00pm AEST on 15/08/12 . The winner will be chosen by randomly picking one of the email addresses that has subscribed to the Door Buster newsletter.
 
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over (excluding ACT). Entry is free.
3. Employees (and their immediate families) of Door Buster and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of their rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
5. Only entries received via the official promotion entry page will be eligible.
6. Each entry must:
a) must have been written by the entrant;
b) not be offensive, defamatory, unlawful or likely to cause offense to other persons;
c) be free of any claims, including copyright claims, by other parties; and
d) not have been published previously or have won a prize or an award in any other competition;
e) not promote or depict illegal or negligent activity.
The Promoter may exclude any entry that does not meet these criteria.
7. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
8. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoters reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
9. Promotion commences 9:00am AEST 12/07/12 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 13/08/12. Entries will be judged by Door Buster, 1 WOOLWORTHS WAY, BELLAVISTA NSW Sydney.
10. Between 9:00am AEST and 5:00pm AEST on 15/08/2012 the winner will be chosen by randomly picking one of the email addresses that has subscribed to the Door Buster newsletter.
11. The judges may select additional reserve entries that they determine to be the next best, and record them in order, in the case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is selected as the provisional winner.
12. The winners will be notified by email, and will be required to supply residential address.
13. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14.The winner will receive a Jim Beam Fridge (RRP $299), Stanley Rogers 24pc Red and 24pc Wine glasses (RRP $60), Oneida Cutlery Set (RRP $249), Stanley Rogers 40pc Dinner Set (RRP $200), Sanyo 26" TV (RRP $349), Samsung H300 Camcorder (RRP $429).
15. If for any reason a winner does not redeem the Prize within 28 days of being notified by email, then the Prize will be forfeited.
16. The promoter accepts no responsibility for the successful delivery of email notification.
17. Total Prize pool value is $1,586.
18. The Prize, or any unused portion of the Prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
19. All entries submitted become the property of the Promoters. Entries will not be returned to any entrant. As a condition of entering into this promotion, each entrant licenses the Promoters to use their entry in any media for an unlimited period for any reason including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes. Each entrant warrants to the Promoters that each entry submitted is an original literary work of the entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third party. The entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoters against all costs and claims by third parties arising from a breach of this warranty. Entrants consent to any use of their entry which may otherwise infringe their moral rights pursuant to the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
20. Entrants consent to the Promoters using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoters.
21. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters, the Promoters reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
22. The Promoter is not responsible for late or misdirected entries and takes no responsibility for any entries not correctly lodged.
23.The Promoter and its related companies, employees and agencies shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) suffered by an person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering this promotion or claiming/winning any prize, except as required by law.
24. The Promoter is not responsible for the transmission or receipt of any incorrect information associated with entries, either caused by user error or any equipment or programming malfunction associated with this competition.
25. If you enter this competition, the Promoter will collect personal information about you so that you can participate in the competition and the Promoter can administer the competition. Entry is conditional on providing this information. When the entrant gives their consent by "opting in" you give your consent to receive marketing information, the Promoter may use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant.
26. The Promoter is bound by the Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
