Winners will be announced after 4.30pm on Sunday 29th July 2012 at the HIA Renovate & Build Expo.
Only entries received over three days at the HIA Expo are valid.


How to enter:

All adult visitors to the HIA Expo will receive a competition voucher with an unique code, register your details and scan your voucher at the designated competition entry points

PRIZE: Supply, deliver and install new Colorbond metal roof, including if required the removal of existing roof valued up to $15,000, excludes gutters TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Information on prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry into the promotion deems acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
3. Certified Roofing, Unit 2/8 India St, Capalaba QLD. 4157 is the provider of the prize and responsible for the delivery of prize as per terms and conditions of entry.
4. Promoter is the Housing Industry Association Limited, 14 Edmondstone Street, South Brisbane, Qld 4101
5. Employees and their immediate families of Certified Roofing and the Housing Industry Association are ineligible to enter.
6. The Promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. Entry into the competition is conditional to entrant completing registration details at the HIA Expo electronic registration desk, and competition coupon scanned at Certified Roofing display.
8. Only one entry per registration accepted.
9. Prize recipient must be a home owner and respective dwelling be located in the Brisbane or Gold Coast region. Prize recipient must provide proof that he/she is the owner of dwelling that prize will be provided for.
10. All costs incurred in supply and delivery to any address outside of 50km from Brisbane CBD will be the responsibility of the winner.
11. The minimum age of participants is eighteen (18) years of age.
12. Subject to the terms and conditions of the draw, the name represented on the first draw will be declared the winner of such prize.
13. All prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
14. The prizes are not refundable.
15. If Certified Roofing deems that prize winner’s respective dwelling is not suitable to install prize, then prize will be forfeit the prize and another prize winner will be drawn within a reasonable time period.
16. The prize winner’s respective dwelling must be no higher than two storey, safety rail included but not full scaffolding, roof size approx. 200m2 and provide site access. Prize winner being the home owner must allow for signage to be placed at the front of respective property for 6 weeks.
17. Any additional expenses incurred by the prize winner, including, but not limited to acceptance of such, excluding those outlined in the prize details, are the responsibility of the winner. To the full extent permitted by law the Promoters exclude all liability directly, indirectly or otherwise arising from or in connection with this competition. The winner releases the Promoters from any and all causes of action, losses, liability, damage, expense (including, but not limited to legal expenses) cost or charge suffered, sustained or in any way incurred by the winner as a consequence of any loss or damage to any physical property of the winner, or any injury to or death of any person directly, indirectly or otherwise arising from or in connection with this competition, or related to or in any way connected with the Promoters of the prize.
18. Any winner drawn for any of the prizes, who is unable to fulfil all of these terms and conditions, will forfeit the prize and another prize winner will be drawn within a reasonable time.
19. In the event that any date of redemption expires and prize remains unclaimed for a period exceeding three (3) month from the date of the draw, notice of an unclaimed prize, and all reasonable attempts made by the promoters to locate the prize winner and a redraw will be conducted; upon such the new prize winner will become the beneficiary of all goods held on trust by the promoters.
20. Privacy: This competition requires you to provide information about yourself. We collect this information to include you in this competition and may also use the information to assist us in improving our goods and services and to contact you in the future with special offers. We may share your information with our other Australian related companies and HIA who may contact you with special offers. 21. The winners name will be published on the in the Public Notices section of the Courier Mail and such will constitute official notification to the winners.
22. The competition opens to entries to be received from Friday 27 July 2012 at 9am and competition closes at 3.00pm on Sunday 29 July 2012. Prizes will be drawn from 4.00pm on Sunday 29 July 2012 in the Exhibition Halls at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. You do not have to be present at the draw to win.
23. Total prize including design consultation, delivery, supply and install, including if required the removal of existing roof to the maximum value of $15,000 (gst inclusive), excludes gutters.


WIN a 2 week Cooking Tour of Italy thanks to V-ZUG Food Tour of Western Sicily 9-13 June 2013 for 14days, 13nights, $6000 per person twin share. Winners should be prepared to travel on these dates only and the dates are not transferable. Each prize is awarded to one winner who can bring their partner or friend (not two different winners). To enter: a) On entry into the HIA Expo visitors will receive a competition voucher with a QR code. b) Visitors to register details at the ‘visitor registration zone’ located in the exhibition halls at the HIA Renovate & Build Expo c) Visitors can then scan their competition voucher at the designated competition entry stand. One registration per visitor. 5. The prize draw from all entries (4c and 4d) will take place on at the HIA Renovate & Build Expo on Sunday 29 July 2012 @ 16.30 (AEST) 6. The winner will be notified in writing and published in The Courier Mail public notices 3rd August 2012 7. Total prize value is up to $20,000 incl. GST. Prizes are not transferable, cannot be exchanged and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. 8. Prizes must be claimed prior to Friday 10 August 2012. 9. In the event that the prize is not claimed, the unclaimed prize draw will take place on 14 August 2012 at 2pm at the offices of HIA, 14 Edmondstone Street, South Brisbane, Qld 4101. 10. The winner of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified in writing and published in The Australian on Friday 17 August 2012.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner provide proof of age, identity and residency prior to awarding a prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. 12. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). 13.
