Terms and Conditions:

1.Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions of entry.

2.The Promoter is Geelong Advertiser Proprietary Limited 191-195 Ryrie Street, Geelong Vic 3220. ABN. 59004090055.

3.Entry is available to Victorian residents only. Employees of the Promoter or its associated companies, employees of any agencies, affiliates, sponsors, sub-sponsors or representatives of the Promoter and immediate families of any such employees are not eligible to enter.

4. To enter, entrants must complete the in paper entry form in the Geelong Advertiser and either send it in to Kokoda Trek PO Box 91 Geelong 3220 OR hand it in to reception staff at 191 � 195 Ryrie Street Geelong.

5. Competition commences Saturday 21 July 2012 at 12:01am and closes Friday 10 August at 5.00pm.

6. Entries must include the entrant�s full name, address, age and contact telephone number and a response in 25 words or less to what walking the Kokoda track would mean to them.

7. To be eligible to enter entrants must be aged 18 and over and hold a current passport with 6 months validity.

8. Entrants may enter as often as they like using the online entry form.

9. The promotion is one of a game of skill.

10. There will be one prize draw.

11. The prize draw will take place at 12:00pm AEST Monday 13 August 2012 at the office of the Geelong Advertiser 191-195 Ryrie St, Geelong Vic 3220. All entries must be received by the Promoter by 5pm Friday 10 August 2012.

12. There is one prize on offer, it is a place on a Kokoda trek with Australian Kokoda Tours, leaving 22 October, and the prize includes the following:

13. In order to claim their prize, the winner must pass a fitness test conducted by a registered doctor and be available to attend the eight week training course included in the prize.

Total prize pool value is AUD $5,900.00

14. Prize values are based on the recommended retail price at the time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for changes in prize value between now and the time of redemption.

15. Winner will be contacted in writing within 7 working days after the draw.

16. Prize must be collected from the Geelong Advertiser office at 191 � 195 Ryrie Street Geelong within four weeks from the time of notification. Winner will be required to present photo identification when collecting their prize to verify their identity.


17. The winner must, on request by the promoter, be able to provide evidence, which to the reasonable satisfaction of the Promoter, demonstrates that the winner is an eligible entrant and has complied with these terms and conditions.

18. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process.

19. The promoter does not accept responsibility for late, lost, misdirected entries or entries sent but not received. The judge�s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter.

20. Prizes are non-transferable, and must be taken as offered. No responsibility is taken for the winner�s loss of the prize.

21. The Promoter and companies associated with this promotion shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the prize.

22. The personal information supplied to the Promoter is for the purpose of entering this competition only and may be used by us or any of our Australian related companies for future marketing and publicity purposes. This personal information may be disclosed to third parties to determine whether an entrant has breached the terms and conditions.
