1. Variables
1.1 Resident of: Australia only.
1.2 Minimum age and eligibility: 18 years old and must have a full valid
Australian drivers licence

1.9 The names of the Minor Prize Winners will appear on

2. Prize/Prizes 
2.1 There are two categories of Prizes,  a Minor Prize and a Major Prize.
There are three (3) Minor Prizes available to be awarded and one
(1) Major Prize will be awarded.   
2.2 The Minor Prize includes:
(a) $10,000 cash (valued at $10,000) (provided as cash or eft)
(b) Access to a new Hyundai i30 that Hyundai Australia will lend to
the Minor Prize winner for 30 hours; and
(c) featuring in a video clip in relation to the Minor Prize winner’s use
of the Hyundai i30 and spending of $10,000 in a continuous 30 hour
period. 
The total value of each Minor Prize is $10,000. There are three (3)
Minor Prizes and the total value of all the Minor Prizes is $30,000.
2.3 Each Minor Prize winner must:
(a) be available for on the three Experience times slots set out in
Condition 2.11 for the entire 30 hour period;  No Travel & Accommodation
(b) attend the Minor Prize Winner’s nearest Hyundai car dealership
as directed by the Promoter at the start time and date of one
of the three Experience times slots set in Condition 2.11; and 
(c) carry out the 30 hours in accordance with that Minor Prize
winner’s answer to the competition question on their winning
entry which will be photographed and filmed, edited and
published (Experience). 
(d) In the event of an accident the winner will be expected to
cover any excess
2.4 During the Experience time (the 30 hour period being filmed), the
Minor Prize Winner must spend the $10,000 in accordance with their
answer to the competition question on their winning entry. To the
extent that the money is spent on something that can be purchased
and retained by the Minor Prize winner, that Minor Prize winner keeps
the items purchased with this money.  In the event that the entire
$10,000 is not spent by the Minor Prize winner within the 30 hour
period being filmed as the Experience, that Minor Prize Winner will
retain the remaining cash after the relevant Experience time has
ended.
2.5 Each Minor Prize does not include:  insurance excess
2.6 The Major Prize includes:
A brand new, new generation Hyundai including 12 months'
registration, 12 months' Compulsory Third Party Insurance (in
applicable states) and all on-road costs, 
1. dealer delivery and statutory charges and including all on road
costs (valued at $34,250; includes ALL on road costs (taxes, duties,
third party insurance et, winners s can choose a colour subject to
availability and we reserve the right to change the colour should we
not be able to deliver it within a suitable time frame.
The total value of the Major Prize is $ 34,250 (incl GST)
           
The total value of the Prize Pool is $ 64,250
2.7 The Major Prize will be delivered to the Major Prize Winner’s nearest
Hyundai dealership and the Major Prize does not include
travel costs and expenses that the Major Prize Winner may incur to
travel to their nearest Hyundai dealership to pick up their Major Prize.
2.8 The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered
into. No Travel & Accommodation
2.9 All prize items are valued in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST
and the Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in item
values.  The prize or any part of a prize is not transferable,
exchangeable or (except for the cash component) redeemable for
cash.  In the event that any prize item is unavailable, the Promoter
reserves the right to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value. 
Any taxes (other than GST, if any) which may be payable as a
consequence of a winner receiving the prize are the sole
responsibility of the winner.
2.10 The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the
quality/suitability/merchantability of any of the goods/services
offered as prizes; and accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to
prizes in transit or transfer to the winner.
2.11 Winners must be able and available to fulfil the Experience on each
of the following dates (the prize will take place on one of these
dates, to be determined between the promoter and the winners): 
(a) Experience time slot 1 (Thursday 2nd
 August)  Thursday 11am to
Friday at 5pm (10 hours rest between Thursday 9pm to Friday 7am
included.)
(b) Experience time slot 2 (Monday 6th
 August)
Monday 11am to Tuesday at 5pm (10 hours rest between Monday
9pm to Tuesday 7am included)
(c) Experience time slot 3 (Thursday 9th
 August)
Thursday 11am to Friday at 5pm (10 hours rest between Thursday
9pm to Friday 7am incl.)
2.12 It is a condition of accepting the Minor Prize that each Minor Prize
Winner must:
(a)   participate in the Experience; and 
(b) sign any relevant forms, provided by the Promoter or a prize
supplier, in relation to accepting the Minor Prize, using the
Hyundai i30, and appearing in the video clip in relation to
that Minor Prize winner’s use of the Hyundai i30 and spending
of $10,000 in a continuous 30 hour period. 
2.13 When participating in an Experience, each  Minor Prize Winner must:
(a)  have 10 hours within the 30 hours where they are to sleep/rest,
as outlined in the experience dates and details and this will
not be filmed; 
(b) consent to being filmed while Participating in the Experience
and this film, sound and photo content of and in connection
with the Experience can be used at Hyundai’s discretion for No Travel & Accommodation
up to 12 months in any media worldwide. This includes usage
across TV, online and social media;
(c)  commence the Experience at the closest Hyundai dealership
to the Minor Prize Winner’s residence and must conclude at
the same Hyundai dealership 30 hours later; 
(d) conduct the Experiences  around the Hyundai i30 and finalists
cannot leave the car for an extended period of time; and
(e)  when conducting the Experience, (i) comply with all
applicable laws and regulations (including but not limited to
all road and traffic laws and rules); (ii) not cause any damage,
injury, harm or loss and (iii) not deface public property or
engage in activities that are harmful or dangerous to
themselves or others).
   
3. Who may enter
The only persons who may enter and be awarded prizes are residents of
the place specified in Condition 1.1, who have attained the age specified
in Condition 1.2 and satisfy all the eligibility condition(s) in |Condition 1.2,
who are not (i) employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter or any of its
agencies involved with this competition, or (ii) members of the immediate
family of such employees and contractors.
"Immediate family" means spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or
adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent),
whether or not they live in the same household as the
employee/contractor.
“Promoter” means ninemsn Pty Ltd ABN 33 077 753 461.
4. Entrants bound by conditions
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions.
5. How to enter 
To enter, entrants must, between the start time and start date and end
time and end date (in Conditions 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 respectively):
(a) Read and accept these terms and conditions;
(b) Log onto http://www.i30freeyourself.com.au;   
(c) follow the prompts to the promotion registration page and register
their details (full name, address, daytime telephone number, age
and email address, among other things);  No Travel & Accommodation
(d) confirm they have a valid Australian drivers licence; [and
(e) answer the following question in 100 words or less:
How would you ‘free yourself’ in 30 hours with a new generation
Hyundai i30 and $10,000 cash?  [
6. Selection of winner
6.1 At the time and date specified in Conditions 1.7 and 1.8, the judges
will choose three Minor Prize winners. Each Minor Prize winner will be
the entrant who has been judged to have entered one of the top
three (3) most creative, humorous and original response to the
question asked in Condition 5(e).
6.2 Each entry will be individually judged based on originality, literary
and creative merit. Chance plays no part in determining the
winner/s.
6.3 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant submitting
an entry which infringes a third party’s intellectual property rights, or
in the opinion of the Promoter, includes objectionable content,
including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting,
scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images or language.
6.4 Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
6.5 To be eligible to receive the Minor Prize, the Minor Prize winner must
also have a full clean driver’s licence.   
6.6 At the time and date specified in Conditions 1.10 and 1.11, the
judges will choose one Major Prize winner. the judges for Major Prize
will judge the recordings of each of the three Minor Prize Winner’s
Experience and, based on originality and creativity of the Minor
Prize Winner’s activities as well as the Minor Prize Winner’s
adherence to their answer to the question in Condition 5(e), the
Minor Prize Winner’s Experience that is judged to be the best will win
the Major Prize.  Chance plays no part in determining the Major Prize
Winner.
7. Special conditions of entry
   
7.1 All entries must be:
a. the original independent creation of the entrant;
b. owned by the entrant; and
a. free of any claims, including copyright or trademark claims by
other parties. No Travel & Accommodation
7.2 Entries must not: 
a. have been published previously;
b. have won prizes or awards in other competitions;
c. be restricted in any way; or
d. infringe any third party rights.
7.3 It is a condition of the awarding of each prize that the winner must, if
requested to do so by the Promoter, sign and return any Affirmation
of Eligibility to Enter, Ownership of Entry, Release and Compliance
statements and release of Promoter’s liability form provided to the
winner by the Promoter. The failure to return the signed statements
and forms will result in the entitlement to the prize being forfeited
and the selection of another winner. 
7.4 The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of
entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, driver’s licence,
age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who
submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and
Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the
Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute
a waiver of those rights.  In the event that a winner’s entry is found to
be invalid, the relevant prize will be awarded to the entry judged to
be the next best.  For the avoidance of doubt, a Minor Prize Winner’s
Experience forms part of that entrant’s entry.
8. Limitations on entry
There is no limit to the number of entries per person, subject to the
following:
a.  each entry must be substantially unique; and 
b.  each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with
entry requirements.
9. Duration 
This competition starts at the Sydney time and date specified in Conditions
1.3 and 1.4. Entries must be received by the Sydney time and date
specified in Conditions 1.5 and 1.6.
10.No quality, etc, representations/exclusion of liability
The Promoter:
a. makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/ suitability/
merchantability of any of the goods/services offered as prizes; No Travel & Accommodation
b. accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to prizes in transit;
c. accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected registrations or
entries; and;
d. is not liable, to the extent permitted by law, for any loss suffered or
sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to,
consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or
omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or
agents, in connection with this competition or the arrangement for
supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize
winner (including but not limited to each Minor Prize Winner and  each
of their use of the Minor Prize and undertaking the Experience) and,
where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying the winner. 
e. If the prize involves entry to an event and/or transport and
accommodation, the winner and his or her guests must sign and return
any liability release provided by the Promoter and/or its contractors as
a condition of the prize being awarded.
f. Each winner may be required to sign aliability indemnity provided by
the Promoter as a condition of the prize being awarded. Failure to
return the signed releases and indemnities will result in the entitlement
to the prize being forfeited and the selection of another winner.
g. Condition 10 does not affect, and is not intended to affect, any rights
a consumer might have, which are not able to be excluded under
applicable Australian consumer protection laws. To the fullest extent
permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its servant or agents
for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the cost of
having the prize supplied again. 
11.Winner notification and publication 
The winner will be notified by telephone and/or email, using the details
provided in their entry, and the name and suburb of 
a. the Minor Prize winners will be published as specified in Condition 1.9;
and   
b. the Minor Prize winners will be published as specified in Condition 1.12.
12.Use of Headings
Headings  and  subheadings  are inserted  for  convenience  only  and  sh
all  not  be  used  to interpret the text of these conditions in any way
adverse to an interpretation in favour of the Promoter. No Travel & Accommodation
13.Ownership of entries
a. All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter.
b. The Promoter reserves the right to use the content of winning and
runners-up entries for the purpose of future promotions. 
14.Internet
a. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned,
including but not exclusively infection by computer virus, bugs,
tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any
other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or
affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct
of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion
to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to
cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. 
b. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission,
interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission,
communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access
to, or alteration of, entries. 
c. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical
malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online
systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of
any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of
technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any
Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to
participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from
participation or downloading any materials in this competition. 
d. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR THE
INFORMATION ON A WEBSITE, OR TO OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE
LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS COMPETITION, MAY BE A VIOLATION OF
CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE,
WHETHER SUCCESSFUL OR NOT, THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO
SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
15.LIABILITY, INDEMNITY AND RELEASE
a. In consideration for the Promoter accepting the Entrant’s entry, the
Entrant releases and forever discharges the Promoter from all claims
that the Entrant may have or may have had but for this release arising
from or in connection with any entrant’s participation in this promotion;
each winner’s acceptance and use of any Prize, and the winner’s
guest’s acceptance and use of the Prize.  No Travel & Accommodation
b. The entrant indemnifies and holds harmless the Promoter to the extent
permitted by law in respect of any claim by any person (including but
not limited to other entrants in the promotion), arising as a result of or in
connection with the entrant’s participation in the promotion. 
c. In this Condition 15, “all claims” means and includes any action, suit,
proceeding, claim, demand, damage, penalty, cost or expense
however arising.
d. Entrants acknowledge that there are inherent risks in some aspects of
the prize and that using the prize involves participating in dangerous
activities. By entering this promotion and accepting a prize, entrants
accept that risk.

17.Entire conditions
