Terms and Conditions
Prize
Bing Lee Electrics Pty Limited, will be giving away Four (4) Series 8 ES8000 Samsung Smart TVs to (4)
Facebook fans in the “What is Samsung Smart TV” (game of skill) competition. The competition will be
conducted over two (2) weeks with two (2) prizes offered each week.
How to Enter
1. Successfully complete the competition entry page found via the Bing Lee Electrics Facebook Page
URL: http://www.facebook.com/BingLeeElectrics with the required information:
a. Enter your caption for the current image in 25 words or less.
2. A “Panel of Judges” selected by the promoter will choose the most creative responses as the winner.
3. Note the following criteria:
a. There will be a total of four (4) images displayed for captions during the promotion.
b. One entry per person for each caption.
c. Originality is key. Use your creativity as we will be looking for the most unique responses.
The Prizes
3. There will be one winner for each caption, and each winner will receive a new Samsung ES8000
valued at $4,500RRP each.
4. Total prize pool is 4 x $4,500RRP = $18,000RRP
Conditions of Entry
4. Entrants must like us on Facebook to enter.
5. Entrants can only be accepted from Australia residents and must be over the age of 18 years.
6. Employees and immediate family of Bing Lee Pty Limited are not eligible to enter.
Dates
7. The entire competition starts 30th July 2012 and ends on 13th August 2012.
8. All entries must be received between the following dates.
a. Week One (Caption 1)
i. Monday 30th of July 2012 to 12pm Thursday 2nd of August 2012.
b. Week One (Caption 2)
i. Thursday 12pm 2nd of August 2012 to 12pm Monday 6th August 2012.
c. Week Two (Caption 3)
i. Monday 12pm 6th of August 2012 to 12pm Thursday 9th of August 2012.
d. Week Two (Caption 4)
i. Thursday 12pm 9th of August 2012 to Monday 12pm 13th of August 2012.
9. The “Panel of Judges” will select and announce the winners at the end of the entire competition.
Winner Selection
10. Winners will be selected on 7th of August 2012 at 12pm, location of the decision will be;
a. Level 1, 702 Woodville Road, Old Guildford 2161 NSW Australia.
11. Once the winners are selected by the “Panel of Judges” they will be notified by email.
12. Winners will be announced on the Bing Lee Facebook page.
General
9. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who
tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these
Conditions of Entry.
10. Should the prizes remain unclaimed or the winner remains uncontactable due to any misadventure
for a period of 3 months from the original date of announcement the prize will be forfeited. Judges'
decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. (All dates refer to the 2012 calendar
year)
11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize
winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
12. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
13. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but
not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a
result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
14. Prizes, including any unused portions are non transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken
as cash, unless otherwise indicated. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the
prize values.
15. The promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the
information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the competition.
16. By entering the competition, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the promoter
may use this information or disclose it to other organisations that may use it in any media for future
promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other
compensation to the entrant.
17. Panel of Judges are chosen employees of the Promoter.
