Viva Las Vegas
Terms & Conditions:
1. The major promotion, Viva Las Vegas, will commence on Wednesday July 4th 2012, 10am
and will conclude on Sunday August 12th 2012 at approximately 5pm.
2. To be eligible to enter into the promotion financial members of Caboolture Sports Club must win $5 or more on a poker
machine at Caboolture Sports Club, with their membership card inserted, OR spend $5 or more at any one time at the
Caboolture Sports Club s Bars, Bottleshop, Bistro or Cafes Bar or Bistro, and have
their membership card swiped when making the purchase. Entries close on Sunday June 17th 2012 at 4pm.
3. Members will receive one (1) entry ticket for each $5 won whilst playing the gaming machines or one (1) entry ticket
per $5 spent on food and beverage at participation areas of Caboolture Sports Club & Centenary Lakes Sports Club.
4. Once the person is eligible, a ticket is automatically generated and is placed in the entry barrel, located in the Foyer of
Caboolture Sports Club.
5. Members can enter as many times as they like during the promotion when they meet the criteria.
6. To be eligible to win one of the major prizes, members must win one of the specified preliminary draws and be drawn
out of the barrel. Members must be present to win preliminary draws.
7. There are five (5) preliminary draws during the promotional period. The draws will take place at Caboolture Sports Club
on Sunday July 15th 2pm, Sunday July 22nd 2pm, Sunday July 29th 2pm, Sunday August 5th 2pm and Sunday August 12th
2pm. At each preliminary draws there will be four (4) draws, taking place at 2pm, 2.40pm, 3.20pm and 4pm or until a
winner is found.
8. All preliminary draw winners will each receive $100 cash plus an invite to our major draw on Sunday August 12th.
9. All preliminary draw winners must attend the major draw, held Sunday August 12th 2012 at approximately 4.30pm to be
eligible to win a major prize. All winners must be registered at the Foyer prior to 2pm to be eligible for the major draw. If
a preliminary draw winner/s has not registered by 2pm they forfeit their place in the major draw. No redraw will occur.
10. A member can only win one (1) prize at each preliminary draw. Once a member has been selected they will be
ineligible to win another prize until the next scheduled draw date.
11. Members drawn out of the barrel have two (2) minutes to claim their prize from the specified draw area. If a winner is
not found during this time a redraw will occur.
12. At the major draw each of the twenty (20) preliminary winners will be asked in order, from winner one (1) to winner
twenty (20) to select one of twenty (20) cards from the game board. Each winner will then hand their card to the
promotion host, the host will then reveal and announce which prize they have won.
13. There are twenty (20) major prizes are as follows,
One (1) choice of either a $7,000 trip for 2 people to Las Vegas including return economy flights, accommodation for 5
nights as designated by travel agent and $2,000 spending money ($1,500 paid in cash, $500 paid by cheque) or $6,000
($1,500 paid in cash and $4,500 paid in cheque) two (2) cash prizes of $1,000 each, one (1) $1,000 holiday voucher to
Caboolture Travel Centre valid for 6 months. Four (4) prizes of $500 cash each, two (2) prizes of $250 cash each and ten
(10) cash prizes of $100 each. Major prizes total a maximum of $14,000.
14. Preliminary prize draws total $2,000.
15. All winners must be present at Caboolture Sports Club on draw dates and times to win a preliminary draw.
16. The draws will be drawn by an unbiased staff member performing each draw.
17. Whilst all care will be taken, Caboolture Sports Club will not be responsible for any lost entries caused by malfunctions
or problems relating to the club s ticket printers.
18. The total promotional prize pool is valued at approximately $16,000.
19. The prizes on display are the prizes that will be won.
20. By partaking in the promotion, winners agree to have their picture taken for use in promotional items, including the
Club s magazine, Community Connect, club websites, and other advertising.
21. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
22. Caboolture Sports Club shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not
limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the prize,
except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
