“THE REPUBLIC OF TRIUMPH” PROMOTION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter, vote and the prizes form part of these Terms and
Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these
Terms and Conditions.
Promotional Period
2. The promotion commences on Monday 6 August 2012 and ends at 11.59pm
AEST on Sunday 9 September 2012 (“Promotional Period”). 
Eligibility to Enter/Vote
3. Entry and voting is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. 
4. Employees (and their immediate families) of the  Promoter and agencies
associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means
any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child
(whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, stepgrandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, stepsister or 1

How to Enter
5. To enter, individuals must complete the following steps during the Promotional
Period:
(a) visit the Triumph International Australia Facebook Page at
https://www.facebook.com/Triumph.AU (“Triumph Australia Facebook
Page”);
(b) become a fan of the Triumph Australia Facebook Page by clicking the
‘like’ button (if not an existing fan of the Triumph Australia Facebook
Page);
(c) click the promotional application on the Triumph Australia Facebook
Page; 
(d) click the ‘allow’ button as prompted, to permit the Promoter access to
their basic information; 
(e) follow the prompts to the ‘Declare Your Right’ section of the promotional
App; and
(f) input the requested details including their full name, valid email address
and Australian residential postcode and the ‘right’ they would like to
declare (e.g. ‘the right to speak my mind’). The ‘right’ will depend on font
style and size, and the  maximum allowable length based on the
smallest allowable font style and size is 180 characters (including
spaces); and 
(g) click the ‘confirm’ button.
For each subsequent entry a person submits, they will only need to log into
Facebook (if not already logged in), visit the promotional App and include and 2
submit the ‘right’ they would like to declare. Once an entrant logs into
Facebook they will not need to provide their personal details again at the time
of submitting their ‘right’. Each ‘right’ declared must be unique.
6. Any entries that the Promoter deems to be inappropriate or in any other way
in breach of these Terms and Conditions will be removed from the Triumph
Australia Facebook Page. 
7. Multiple entries permitted per person, however:  (i) each entry must be
submitted separately in accordance with the entry requirements; and (ii) each
entry submitted must be unique.
8. Entrants will be provided with a unique URL to their entry once their entry has
been submitted. Entrants may choose to share the URL of their entry with
their friends/family members by posting a link to their entry on their Facebook
wall, on Twitter or Google Plus, or sending an email with the unique URL to
friends/family members. 
How to Vote
9. To vote, individuals must complete the following steps during the Promotional
Period:
(a) visit the Triumph Australia Facebook Page;
(b) become a fan of the Triumph Australia Facebook Page by clicking the ‘like’
button (if not an existing fan of the Triumph Australia Facebook Page);
(c) click the promotional application on the Triumph Australia Facebook Page; 
(d) click the ‘allow’ button as prompted, to permit the Promoter access to their
basic information; 
(e) follow the prompts to the voting section of the promotional App;
(f) click the ‘right’ they would like to vote for and press the ‘vote’ button;
(g) input the requested details including their full name, valid email address
and Australian residential postcode; and 
(h) click the ‘confirm’ button.
10. Once a person has completed their first vote, they will not need to complete
the ‘allow’ button again to access the promotional App, and will not need to
provide their personal details for each subsequent vote submitted.
11. Limit one (1) vote permitted per person and Facebook account per entry.
Prizes
12. The top ten (10) ranked entries, based on the number of valid votes received,
will be deemed a winner. Each winner will receive the following prize valued at
$3,550 (excluding travel costs):
• Return economy airfares for the winner from their nearest capital city to
Sydney, NSW (if they do not reside in NSW) on Friday 28 September
2012;  3
• $250 Triumph voucher. The winner will be contacted  by Triumph
International and directed to visit the www.triumph.com/au website for
a list of the available products, and then make their initial selection
from that list (up to the value of $250). Alternatively, if a winner does
not have access to internet then Triumph will send  them a list of
available products for them to choose from via mail. Subject to
availability (depending on winner's size and preferences) once the
winner provides the Promoter with their list of preferred products (up to
the total value of $250) the Promoter will supply the winner with their
preferred products via delivery to the winner’s residential address. In
the event that one or more of a winner’s preferred  product(s) are
unavailable, the winner must choose an alternative product Voucher is
not redeemable for sale items and Triumph Essence products. Voucher
expires on 31
st
 October. Voucher must be used in one transaction only.
Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the voucher are not
included. Redemption of the voucher is subject to any terms and
conditions of the issuer including those specified on the voucher;
• Gift bag from Cosmopolitan magazine. Exact contents of the gift bag
will be determined by the Promoter and Cosmopolitan magazine in its
absolute discretion;
• Lunch with three editorial members from Cosmo magazine on Friday
28 September 2012 valued at up to $50. The lunch will take place in
Sydney, NSW at a time and location specified by the Promoter; and 
• The opportunity to attend the Republic of Triumph Pitt Street event on
Friday 28 September 2012. 
13. If a winner is from New South Wales then the prize does not include airfares
and the airfare component of the prize is not redeemable for cash. Spending
money, meals, insurance, transport to and from departure point, transfers,
items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are
not included. Prize must be taken to coincide with the Republic of Triumph Pitt
Street Event taking place on 28 September 2012 and  is subject to booking
and flight availability. 
14. Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Frequent
flyer points will not form part of the prize. Prize is subject to the standard
terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. 
15. The top 10 ranked entries will also be included in the official constitution of
The Republic of Triumph.
16. In the event that a top ten (10) ranked entrant does not want to participate in
the Republic of Triumph Pitt Street event they will forfeit their right to the prize,
and the prize will be awarded to the next highest ranked entry based on valid
votes received.
17. If an entrant submits more than one (1) entry which is ranked in the top ten
(10) (based on valid votes received), he/she will only be eligible to win one (1)
prize, regardless of the number of winning entries  submitted. All winning
entries submitted by that entrant will still be featured in the official constitution 4
of The Republic of Triumph, however he/she will not receive an additional
Triumph voucher, Cosmo gift bag, lunch or additional return flights to Sydney.
18. In the case that two or more entries obtain the same number of valid votes
(which impacts who is considered in the top 10 ranking), all relevant tied
entries will be individually judged by the Promoter based on the literary, and
creative merit of the ‘right’ submitted on entry, and ordered according to the
results of the judging. For example if the first ranked entry obtained 100 votes,
and two entries are tied for the second highest number of votes with 90 votes,
each tied entry will be judged to determine who will be deemed second place
and who will be deemed third place. 
19. The winners will be notified via email. 
$10 off Triumph Voucher (on minimum spend of $40)
20. The first time a person validly submits an entry or votes, they will also be
registering as a Republic of Triumph citizen and will receive a voucher for $10
off Triumph products, subject to the following conditions: 
• A minimum spend of $40 applies for use of voucher. 
• Limit one (1) voucher per purchase transaction. 
• The voucher does not apply to purchases of Triumph Essence
products and sale items.
• Voucher expires 31
st
 October 2012.
• Voucher may be redeemed at any store Triumph International store
within Australia or via Triumph Australia online store at
http://www.triumph.com/au/. Promotional code on voucher must be
quoted at time of purchase, if redeemed online.
21. The voucher will be sent to the email address provided at the first time of
entry/voting.   
22. In the event that an email address is updated after submission of the first
entry/vote, the voucher will still be sent to the first email address provided.
Entrants must ensure that an email address submitted initially has the correct
spelling. The Promoter will not be responsible for  any email addresses
incorrectly entered online.
23. Voucher may be printed multiple times, however, only one voucher may be
used per transaction.
24. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the voucher are not included.
Redemption of the voucher is subject to any terms and conditions of the
issuer including those specified on the voucher.
General
25. Total prize pool value is $35,500 (excluding travel costs, if any). 5
26. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of
entries/votes and entrants/voters (including an entrant’s/voter’s identity, age
and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant/voter who submits an
entry/vote that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who
tampers with the entry/voting process. Errors and omissions may be accepted
at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its
rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
27. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time: (a) to invalidate any votes which
it reasonably suspects have been submitted using false, incorrect, fraudulent
or misleading information, including but not limited to personal details and
contact information and/or votes that have been submitted through the use of
multiple identities, email addresses or accounts, including but not limited to
social networking accounts; and/or (b) to disqualify any entrant/voter
(or invalidate his/her entry/vote) that the Promoter reasonably suspects has
paid, bartered or offered payment or other consideration to another person in
exchange for votes or has otherwise encouraged or procured any person to
submit votes contrary to these Terms and Conditions. 
28. Incomplete or indecipherable entries and votes will be deemed invalid.
29. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an  entrant/voter, the Promoter
reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the
entrant/voter.
30. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
31. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.   
32. If for any reason a winner does not take a prize (or an element of a prize) at
the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the
prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash. 
33. Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for
any reason a winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take a prize
(or an element of a prize) at the time stipulated, then the prize (or that element
of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash. 
34. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter
reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or
suspend or modify a prize.
35. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion,
reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize
to the equal value and/or specification.
36. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable
and cannot be taken as cash. 6
37. When an entrant submits any materials via the promotion including comments
and ‘rights’ declared on the Triumph Australia Facebook Page (“Content”),
the entrant, unless the Promoter advises otherwise, licenses and grants the
Promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free,
perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce,
modify, adapt, publish and display such Content for any purpose in any
media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability.
Entrants agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use and
warrant that they have the full authority to grant these rights.
Entrants agree that they are fully responsible for the Content they submit. The
Promoter shall not be liable in any way for such Content to the full extent
permitted by law. The Promoter may remove any Content without notice for
any reason whatsoever. Entrants warrant and agree that: (a) they will not
submit any Content that is unlawful or fraudulent, or that the Promoter may
deem in breach of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights,
defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate,
violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, objectionable with respect to race,
religion, origin or gender, not suitable for children aged under 15, or otherwise
unsuitable for publication; (b) they will obtain prior consent from any person or
property that is mentioned in their Content; (c) they will obtain full prior
consent from any person who has jointly created or  has any rights in the
Content, to the uses and terms herein; (d) their Content shall not contain
viruses or cause injury or harm to any person or entity; and (e) they will
comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation,
those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity and the
access or use of others' computer or communication systems.
Without limiting any other terms herein, the entrant agrees to indemnify the
Promoter for any breach of the above terms. 
38. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or
voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or
recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without
remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any
outcome), and promoting any products manufactured,  distributed and/or
supplied by the Promoter.
39. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being
conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the
reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical
difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right,
in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any
entrant/voter; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as
appropriate.
40. Any cost associated with accessing the Triumph Australia Facebook Page is
the entrant’s/voter’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service
provider used.  7
41. The use of any automated entry or voting software or any other mechanical or
electronic means that allows an entrant/voter to automatically enter or vote
repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries/votes submitted by that
entrant/voter invalid.
42. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or
purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as
provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other
implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in
the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except
for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable
Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective  officers, employees and
agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or
any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect,
special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
43. Except for any liability that cannot by law be  excluded, including the NonExcludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its  respective officers,
employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability
(including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage
(including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or
consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or
equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any
theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry, vote or
prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not
after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these
Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner, entrant or
voter; or (f) use of the prize.
44. As a condition of accepting a prize, each winner must sign any legal
documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize
suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal
release and indemnity form.   
45. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion
and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including
but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers.
Entry/voting is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may,
for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for
promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including
sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant/voter. Entrants/voters
should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the
Promoter. 
46. Entry, voting and continued participation in the promotion is dependent on
entrants/voters following and acting in accordance  with the Facebook
Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, which can be viewed at
www.facebook.com/terms.php. 8
47. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or
associated with, Facebook. Entrants/voters understand that they are providing
their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. The information an
entrant/voter provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these
Terms and Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this
promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Facebook
will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury which is suffered or
sustained by an entrant/voter, as a result of participating in the promotion
(including taking/use of a prize), except for any liability which cannot be
excluded by law.

I'm Confused? :? How do I enter this?  I just get a red page with a crown in the middle.  Am I missing something?  How do I enter?
