Also a reminder for those wishing to sell any unwanted prizes, to please use the Unwanted Prizes or Auction sections for this purpose.  Please do not list your intent to sell in this thread, as this would show Trainees what is available and would invite them to pm a seller directly.  Trainees do not have access to the Unwanted Prizes or Auction sections, and have to attain the status of Junior Member before they are allowed to trade.  This rule is to protect our trading community from members who have no established posting history in ACC.

I had 3 parcels on the doorstep waiting for me this afternoon! 3 chick-lit books, 2 packets of Grainwaves chips, and 1 Hi-5 DVD! Not massive wins but all the same the kids and I get very excited to see the parcels on the doorstep, guess what we think might be inside & then discover what we have won! Big thank you to all posters.

Also this isn't a comping win but with some luck a photo of 2 of my children will hopefully be in tomorrow's Herald Sun (Victoria) newspaper. We're a very excited household today!

The cheapest Universal DVD I saw in Woolies was a little under $9. Something similar to Princess Diaries I think

WPC for Milo Back Yard Games late this afternoon :D

Have hardly entered anything of late -  uni too hectic and Miss Six's Barbie party to organise but got a WPC from a guy at Perth's Xpress magazine offering me the prize of a $100 bar-tab at each of 3 trendy Perth bars on Friday night. He offered me the prize as it was my birthday - found three friends to join me and we had a fab night minus kids!

This morning I had a fedex delivery from Canada! Thought it would be the face oil as that was from an international blog, but it turned out to be a pair of Rayban wayfarers that I just ADORE from the NW comp, worth $250!!!! Such a treat as I would never spend that on myself.

Hubby won a bike in  a Cadbury comp last week and a DP to The Saphires.

Best "win" though was checking accomadation prices for Hervey Bay on Last Minute last Friday and came across a mistake, booked 3 days accommadation for $1 a day, with $5 credit card fee and GST our 3 days cost $8.70, turned out to be a mistake which was honoured, so we had 3 days of pure bliss at Hervey Bay. :lol:

DD won a drawing comp :) she got a talking angry bird  she is well pleased with herself :) prizes had to be picked up so was a great buzz for her

hubby won a book this week and I won a razor ??  I also won my place at the top of the hosptial operation list so two ops one next monday and one on the 29th  getting to the top of the list is kinda like gold lotto around here so while I guess I did enter I now want a really great win (fix) at the end :)

For the Sony Universal/Woolworths Comp you have to enter the last 5 digits of your receipt.  I've never been much of a buy-to-enter comper so could do with some advice

The bottom of my receipt lloks like this:

STORE   2524   POS 001   TRANS 2326    0041   18:27   17/08/12

So what are the last five digits?  Is it 60041???

My guess would be 12326

When I entered on Facebook the entry asked for my receipt number, so I put the whole 11 numbers in. It went through okay.

Be aware they publish the answers on their FB page - your entry was

and the other winning entry so far was

I don't think they'd care as long as you are consistent and can produce a receipt for each of your entries.

You're lucky JRN. My local Woolworths does not have a great selection of Universal/Sony DVD's and the lowest priced one I could find was $15. Most of them though are over $20.

i thought the woolworths buy 2 dvds promo was finished??

My local Woolworths don't seem to be participating in the Universal/Sony promotion (there are no entry forms and the staff knew nothing about it). Does this mean I can't enter if I buy a DVD from them? It says in the T&C that you need to purchase the DVD's from a participating store, don't know how strict they are? I tried two stores and neither had any info, but they did have Universal/Sony DVD's.

Jedi, I believe the promotion includes all Woolworths stores. You do not need an entry form, you can enter on Facebook.

Thanks mnew9! I did find that and read the T&C, which is where I got the 'participating stores' bit. But maybe they include any Woolworths as participating, it isn't clear.  Didn't want them to exclude my entry because I didn't shop at a 'participating' Woolworths.

Received a lovely $80 facial cleanser from the STYD competition. Originally, they posted my last name and suburb but with a different first name. I had an inkling there had been an error and thankfully I was right! All of my entering paid off on that one :)

Not exactly a win, but i had a review of a book (which I had received from a website earlier in year to review for them) published in yesterday's West Australian and as a result, I get a pack of five books - can't wait (and can't wait to finish uni to really get back into reading again!).
