If you don’t know who Leo Carax is yet, you soon will. His film Holy Motors generated a lot of buzz at Cannes, and it’s easy to see why – it’s completely insane. Surreal and dark, it follows the tale of Monsieur Oscar as he is driven around in a limo, slipping into different lives. Think sci-fi, but weirder. It’s as surreal as it is engrossing, and will please fans of directors like David Lynch who like their films to push the boundaries. TERMS AND CONDITIONS Competition is open to Australian residents only. Starts 21 August, 2012 and ends 28 August, 2012. This is a game of skill and entrants must answer the question: “Who would you spend a day in the life of and why?” The most creative answer will win. Each winner will receive a Leo Carax prize pack valued at $115. Total prize pool value $565. Entries will be judged on 29 August, 2012 at nextmedia Level 6, 207 Pacific Hwy, St Leonards NSW 2065. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. All email addresses collected in the entry form will be added to the Yen Newsletter database.
