Promotional Period
1. North Sydney Leagues Club (norths) “Viva Las Vegas” promotion (“Promotion”)
commences at 10am on Friday, June 1, 2012 and ends Sunday 26 August, 2012 after
the major draw at 5pm.
Entry Requirements
2. Entry is open to all financial members of norths and is via swiping their membership card
in the member’s kiosk during the promotional period.
3. Entry is free and members are entitled to one entry per swipe per day (based on a 24
hour period, midnight to midnight). 
4. Members must place their entry tickets in the promotional barrel before each draw date to
be eligible. The barrel will be emptied after each major draw.
Draws & Prizes
5. Major draws take place at 5pm on Sunday 24 June, Sunday 29 July and Sunday 26
August, 2012.  (Last Sunday of each month)
6. There will be 10 finalists for each major draw. Patrons must be present to at the Club to
claim the prize and have four (4) minutes to do so.
7. If patron is not present, a new draw will be conducted  and will continue to occur every 4
minutes until all 10 finalist places are filled.
8. All 10 finalists will be invited to choose one of 10 envelopes on each of the major draw
dates .They will do so in the order of their name being drawn from the promotional barrel.
9. One envelope will contain the “Viva Las Vegas” prize consisting of a Las Vegas holiday
including airfares and accommodation package of the winner’s choice for a maximum of
2 people, up to the value of $4,500. Alternatively the winner may take the prize as $4,000
cash. Travel prizes must be taken prior to December 31, 2012.
10. The 9 runners up at each draw will each receive $100 in cash.
11. There are 3 major prizes to be won and 27 consolation prizes in tota;
12. On the final draw date, 26 August, 2012 there is an additional bonus draw. All entries
from previous two months draws are returned to the barrel. A subsequent draw will take
place and that contestant will have the opportunity to win $100,000 cash via a separate 1:
100 chance draw i.e. 99 envelopes contain $100 and one envelope contains $100,000.
The bonus draw is insured under Probability Insurance by Lloyds of London. This bonus
draw will be overseen by an independent Underwriters representative or staff member
from AIS Insurance Brokers. 13. Cash prizes over $2,000 will be awarded as a cheque or via Direct Deposit Bank
Transfer. If the $100,000 prize is won, the cheque will be issued by AIS Insurance direct
to the winner.
14. Total guaranteed prize pool is $14,800.  Potential prize pool, including insured bonus
prize is $114,800.

16. Winners must be present to claim a prize at any draw.
17. When a draw is conducted the winner has 4 minutes to make themselves known to the
Promotional host.  Their entry coupon will be validated (i.e. correct promotion and
promotional period) and he/she must produce their financial norths membership card.
General
18. Prize winners are advised that Tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and   
they should seek independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of the prize.
19. North Sydney Leagues Club is part of the norths Group, which is the promoter. The
promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of
the prize, if the promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in
the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize.
20. norths Group reserves the right to cancel or change the prizes offered under this
promotion if there are any changes to the law which would render the promotion or any
prizes offered under the promotion unlawful.
21. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal
release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.
22. Decisions of the management of norths Group are final. No correspondence will be
entered into.
23. To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which these terms and conditions make
no provision or in relation to which the relevant terms and conditions are unclear, norths
Group reserves the right to make a decision regarding such a situation or issue in its sole
and absolute discretion and such a decision will be final and binding.
24. Norths Group Directors, Management and staff members are not eligible to participate in
the Promotion.
25. Participation in the Promotion by a patron confirms acceptance of the terms and
conditions of the Promotion and the Club’s Rules and By-Laws in force from time to time.
26. Should a prize winner consent to having his/her photograph taken, that selected prize
winner consents to having his/her name and photograph published in any form of media
and agrees to participate in any reasonable promotion requested by norths Group.
27. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to
infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical
failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect
the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the
promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers
with the entry process.
28. All entries become the property of the Promoter and will be entered into a database. The
promoter may use the entrants' names, addresses and telephone numbers for the
distribution of prizes as well as future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in
any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise
advised by the entrant.
29. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the
prize at the time stipulated by the promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited
by the winner.
30. The laws of the state of New South Wales govern the promotion.31. The Promotion is authorised under NSW Permit No. LTPSTBA
32. A copy of the terms and conditions governing the promotion can be obtained from the
