2. This promotion is open only to Australian residents with the exception of those related to

The Promoter, Pearson Australia Group accepts no liability for any problems or technical malfunction

equipment, software, technical problems and/or traffic congestion on telephone networks or lines
that cause late or delayed entries, or for any lost and/or misdirected entries not received by the
closing date.
3. Judging will commence at 9am AEST midday on Thursday August 30, 2012 at Penguin Books
Australia, 250 Camberwell Road, Camberwell, Victoria, 3124 and the winners’ names and state will be
announced on www.penguin.com.au/competitions from August 30, 2012. Fifty people will be
randomly selected and each will receive a copy of Velocity by Steve Worland (valued at $29.99rrp).
The total value of prizes on offer is $1,499.50rrp.
4. The winners only will be notified by phone/email. You must claim your prize within 14 days after
we notify you.
5. Your prize will be sent to you at the address submitted to the online entry form within 28 working
days after claiming the prize.
6. All entries become the property of Pearson Australia Group.
7. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Pearson accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or misdirected prizes.
9. Participation is not transferable and not redeemable for cash or any other goods or ser vices. If for
any reason the promotion is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its
discretion (subject always to any direction given by a relevant gaming or lotteries authority) to cancel,
