WIN AN AFTERNOON WITH VOGUE COMPETITION - QUEENS PLAZA - BRISBANE

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1) Information on how to enter the competition and the Prize forms part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry.
Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Entry
2) The Competition is being run at the following shopping centres – Chadstone Shopping Centre (1341 Dandenong
Rd Chadstone VIC, 3148); Chatswood Chase Sydney Shopping Centre (345 Victoria Avenue, Chatswood NSW
2067) and QueensPlaza Shopping Centre (226 Queen Street, Brisbane QLD 4000) (collectively referred to as
‘Participating Centres’).


3) Entry is only open to Australian residents. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to
enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions of
Entry. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of
consent to the minor entering this competition. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse,
de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, stepgrandparent,
uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
4) Officers, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated
companies and contractors, retailers at the Centre and agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to
enter.
5) The competition commences at 9:00am (local time) on 6th September 2012 and ends close of business on 26th
September 2012 ("Promotional Period").

6) To be eligible to enter, individuals must spend a minimum of $350 at selected fashion and beauty specialty
retailer(s) at a Participating Centre on one (1) day during the Promotional Period (“Minimum Spend”). A full list of
participating fashion and beauty specialty retailers can be found at each Participating Centre’s customer service
desk.


7) To enter the draw individuals must then, on the same day the Minimum Spend is made, visit the customer
service’s desk at the Participating Centre at which they made their Minimum Spend, present their original
purchase receipts for their Minimum Spend to a staff member at the desk and become a VIP Centre member of
that Centre (if not an existing member) by providing that staff member all personal details requested, including
their full name, address, phone number and any other required contact details. If a person is already a VIP
Centre member (of the Centre for which they are entering at), he/she can still enter by completing the process
outlined above, including providing all the requested personal details again to the staff member at the desk.
Entries must be given to a customer service staff member during the usual trading hours of the Centre during
the Promotional Period.
8) The Minimum Spend may be made at multiple selected fashion and beauty specialty retailers within the same
Participating Centre and may include retailer gift card purchases. Transactions undertaken at department stores,
supermarkets and any other retailer not specified on the full list of participating stores are ineligible. Layby
(except on full payment), ATM, bill payment and cash withdrawal transactions are ineligible.
9) Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store(s) of purchase and that the purchase(s) was/were made
during the Promotional Period, and show that the Minimum Spend has been achieved.
10) Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per Minimum Spend by a person
who is not a VIP Centre member prior to 1st September 2012 (“Non-existing Members”); (b) limit two (2) entries
permitted per Minimum Spend by a person who is a VIP Centre member prior to 1st September 2012 (“Existing
Members”); (c) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements; (d) only one
(1) entry permitted per Non-Existing Member per day; (e) only two (2) entries permitted per Existing Member per
day; and (f) each entry must be submitted on the same day the Minimum Spend is made.
11) An entry is only considered valid if the entrant agrees to the Promoter's reasonable request, to participate in any
public relations activities the Participating Centre undertakes about the Prize (such as publicity events and/or
other photo shoots) if the entrant wins the Prize, for an unlimited period, without remuneration.
12) An entrant is responsible for providing their full and correct details to the Centre staff manager at the time of
entry. In the event that an entrant does not provide complete details or incorrect details, their entry will be
deemed invalid at the discretion of the Promoter.
13) If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to
determine the identity of the entrant.
14) The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s
identity, age, place of residence and place of employment) or claims for the Prize and reserves the right to
disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry or claim for the Prize which
is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Entry. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the
Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a
waiver of those rights.
15) Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the
proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in
invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to the Prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly
specify the store of purchase, the products purchased and that the purchase was made during the Promotional
Period but prior to entry.
16) The national prize (the “Prize”) is valued at $3,265 and includes the following:
One (1) x $2,000 gift card for the Participating Centre at which the winner entered the competition;
Approximately four (4) hour stylist appointment by Vogue Fashion Associate Penny McCarthy at the
Participating Centre where the winner entered the competition valued at $1,265. Winner must contact
Colonial First State Property Management to make a booking.
17) In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel,
terminate, modify or suspend the competition or suspend or modify the Prize, subject to any written directions
from a relevant regulatory authority.
18) Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the gift card are not included. Any unused balance of the gift card
will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the gift card is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer
including those specified on the gift card. The gift card may only be used at participating retailers who accept the
gift cards at the Participating Centre at which the winning entry was submitted.
19) The winner’s gift card will be available for collection from the Participating Centre at which the winner entered
(either Chadstone Shopping Centre; Chatswood Chase Sydney Shopping Centre or QueensPlaza Shopping
Centre) Management office, from 1st November 2012 and will be valid for 12 months, expiring on 1st November
2013.
20) The winner of the competition will be determined by an electronic draw. The first valid entry drawn will win the
Prize. The draw will take place at Colonial First State Property Management Pty Ltd Corporate Office, 1341
Dandenong Road, Chadstone VIC 3148 at 2:30pm AEDST on 8th October 2012.
21) The Promoter reserves the right to draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid
entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
22) The drawn entrant will be required to provide proof of identity and proof of purchase on acceptance of the Prize.
23) The winner of the Prize will be notified by telephone within two (2) days of the draw and in writing. The winner’s
name will also be published in The Australian newspaper on 18th October 2012.
24) If the Prize (or part of any Prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the
Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written
directions from a regulatory authority.
25) Failure to claim the Prize within three month’s time of the draw will result in the Prize being forfeited. If the Prize
is awarded in the unclaimed prize draw, failure by the winner of that draw to take the prize by the time stipulated
by the Promoter will also result in forfeiture of the Prize. The Prize (or any unused portion of the Prize) is nontransferable,
non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
26) A draw for the Prize, if unclaimed within three month’s time of the draw, may take place on 8th January 2013 at
the same time and place as the original draw to award the unclaimed Prize, subject to any directions from a
regulatory authority. The winner of the unclaimed Prize will be notified by telephone within 2 days of the draw
and in writing. The winner’s name, if any, will also be published in The Australian newspaper on 18th January
2013.
27) It is a condition of entry that the entrant consents to the Participating Centres and the Promoter using the
entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are the winner of the Prize (including photograph,
film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of
promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products or services, distributed and/or
supplied by the Promoter or the Participating Centres.
28) If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated
due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole
discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written
directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate.
29) Nothing in these Terms and Conditions of Entry limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or
modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any
other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of
Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the
Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all
liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity);
whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition.
30) Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and
agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss
of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition,
including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment
malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party
interference; (c) any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after
their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any
variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions of Entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by a
winner or entrant; or (f) participation in and/or taking of the Prize or any element of the Prize.
31) The Promoter's decision is final and no other correspondence will be entered into.
32) The Promoter is Colonial First State Property Management Pty Ltd (ABN 96 101 504 045) at Corporate Office,
1341 Dandenong Road, Chadstone VIC 3148.
Privacy Statement
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose, disclose
such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, Prize suppliers
and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information.
Unless otherwise advised by the entrant, the Promoter may also, for an indefinite period and without any future
reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant: use the entrant's personal information for promotional,
marketing, publicity, research and customer profiling purposes, including sending electronic or mail messages or
telephoning the entrant.
All personal information of the entrant will be stored at the offices of the Promoter. Entrants should direct any request
to opt out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
