Dreaming of summer? Simply spend $150 at Macquarie Centre in one day*, for the chance to win a $10,000 summer holiday of your dreams. Enter the draw on the same day of purchase, either at one of the entry points in Centre or online at macquariecentre.com.au

Competition commences on Monday 10 September 2012 and closes on Friday 19 October 2012. 


How to enter

Spend $150 at Macquarie Centre retailers (excluding Woolworths and Franklins) in one day*
Enter the draw on the same day of purchase either in Centre at one of the entry points listed below or click here to complete the entry form

For every $150 you spend, you will automatically receive one entry into the draw. Make sure you keep your receipts as you’ll need to present them if you have won!

Terms & Conditions
1. Information on how to enter, how to claim, and details of prizes form part of these Terms and
Conditions. Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry to the competition is open to residents of Australia who fulfil the entry requirements, except:
(i) employees of Macquarie Centre, AMP Capital Shopping Centres Pty Limited, AMP, and their
immediate family; 
(ii) tenants in the shopping centre and their immediate family; 
(iii) the staff of tenants in the shopping centres and their immediate family;
(iv) the proprietors and staff of companies involved in  the production, publishing and
administration of this promotion and their immediate family; and
(v) immediate family means parents, siblings, spouse, children and grandparents. Tenants means
Lessees, Licensees and in the case of a corporation, its directors.
3. Any persons under the age of 18 must obtain parent/guardian permission before entering this
promotion and the Promoter reserves the right to request such consent in writing. 
4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an
entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that
is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or who tampers with the entry process. Errors
and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of
its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
5. On entry into the competition the entrant acknowledges that the Promoter’s decision in relation to any
aspect of the Promotion is final and binding. 
6. All prices and values of the prizes are provided in the currency of the country in which the entrant is
resident, i.e. in Australian Dollars.
7. This promotion is conducted for and in relation to  Macquarie Centre only and for the purposes of
condition 12, each Entrant may enter other competitions run by the Promoter at other shopping
centres subject to the terms and conditions of each shopping centre.       
How to Enter
8. Promotion commences Tuesday 4 September 2012 at 9.00am AEST and entries close on Friday 
19 October 2012 at 5.30pm AEDST (“Promotional Period”).
9. To be eligible to enter, individuals must spend $150 or more in one (1) day at Macquarie Centre,
excluding Woolworths and Franklins (“Qualifying Purchase”). For every $150 amount spent, an entrant
is entitled to one entry into the draw. 
10. Entries must be submitted on the same date stamped on the receipt.
11. Qualifying purchases must be made between 9.00am AEST on Monday 10 September 2012 and 5.30pm
AEDST on Friday 19 October 2012.
12. Purchase receipts can only be used once. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected
entries.                     
13. To enter, individuals must then, on the date of purchase (and the date stamped on the receipt)
complete the official online entry form located at  Customer Service Centre on Level 3 and at
promotional locations in Centre, or online at macquariecentre.com.au. 
14. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an
entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that
is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors
and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of
its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
15. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
16. Eligible customers are permitted to one entry per day. If the customer has spent equal to or above two
(2) or more Qualifying Purchases, the entry system will automatically generate the respective number
of entries. For example, if the customer spends $320 in one (1) day, they only submit one entry into the
competition and the system will automatically generate two (2) entries.
17. Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries submitted as part of the entry as
proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the
absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of
any right to a prize. The winner will be required to produce receipt(s) before receiving the prize.
The Prizes
18. There is one prize of a $10,000 credit account at Harvey World Travel, North Ryde to be used for a
holiday of the Prize Winner’s choice. The prize can only be redeemed through Harvey World Travel,
North Ryde located in Macquarie Centre
19. The prize is valid until Wednesday 22 October 2013 for 12 months from date of prize draw. After the
expiry date any credit unused will be forfeited. 
20. The prize is not redeemable for cash and no cash refunds will be given.
21. The total Prize pool value is exactly $10,000 including GST.
22. Goods and services purchased as part of this prize are subject to availability and subject to the terms
and conditions of each individual supplier.
23. Only services booked through Harvey World Travel, North Ryde form part of the prize, such as flights,
accommodation, cruises, tours, insurance and car hire.  Unless expressly stated in these Terms and
Conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the Prize Winner. The Prize Winner (and
their travel companions) are responsible for all expenses other than that specified, including but not
limited to spending money, transfers, fuel, meals, drinks, incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, room service,
telephone calls, activities, insurance, visas, taxes (including departure taxes), energy surcharges,
gratuities, services charges, passports, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. The Promoter and
Sponsors are not liable for any costs incurred if the Prize Winner and/or their companions travel
without insurance. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the Prize Winner at
check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges.
The Draw and How to Claim your Prize
24. The prize draw will take place at 11.00am on Monday 22 October 2012 at the offices of Devotion
Digital, Level 5, Frank Hurley Grandstand, Fox Studios Australia, 38 Driver Avenue Moore Park NSW
2021. The winner will be notified by telephone or email within 24 hours of the draw and their name will
be published on www.macquariecentre.com.au. The promoter accepts no responsibility or liability in
circumstances where the telephone number and e-mail address provided by the entrant are not valid,
functioning or fails to advise the winner of their selection. 
25. Once the winner has been selected no further correspondence will be entered into.                     
26. To claim the prize, the winner must provide personal identification to confirm their identity and their
details must match the competition entry details. If the official winner is under the age of 18, then
proof of identity for both the official winner and their parent/guardian will be required to claim the
prize.
27. Failure to claim the prize prior to Tuesday 22 January 2013 will deem the winner ineligible to collect the
prize. The Prize will only be provided once the winner has verified their identity to the satisfaction of
the promoter in their absolute discretion.
28. If a prize is not claimed prior to Tuesday 22 January 2013 via the telephone number and/or email
address provided by the Entrant, that prize will be forfeited and a second draw will take place
29. This prize is not transferable and any requests will not be accepted to transfer the prize to any other
person, or any other persons account or account name, other than the official winner of the
competition, except, if the official winner is under the age of 18, in which case the prize can be awarded
to the winner’s parent or guardian. Proof of identity for both the official winner and their
parent/guardian will be required when claiming the prize.
30. A draw for the prize, if unclaimed, may take place on Wednesday 23 January 2013, at the same time
and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners will be
notified by phone and published on Macquarie Centre’s website. 
General Terms and Conditions
31. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event
they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an
unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any
outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
32. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or  is not capable of being conducted as reasonably
anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves
the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b)
subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel
the promotion, as appropriate.
33. Macquarie Centre accepts no responsibility or liability for any costs associated with the use of the prize
other than the ones listed as part of the prize. 
34. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees
and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage
(including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out
of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical
difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft,
unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered,
damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond
the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms
and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
35. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this
purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors,
service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is
conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise
advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes,
including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to
access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the
Promoter.
