The new season kicks off on Friday October 5th and we’re so excited we thought we’d do something to celebrate! We want to reward the die-hard NBL fans. The type who attend every game, home and away, come rain, hail or shine; the supporters who remember every hoop, three pointer and foul; the NBL-mad super fans who eat, breath and sleep all things basketball. Introducing iiNet’s super fan search! We have a double season pass up for grabs for each of the eight teams in this season’s NBL league. All you have to do is prove why you deserve the title of ‘super fan’. Think you’re a super fan? Prove it! We want to know what makes you a super fan. Did you hitchhike across Australia to make a game? Do you have an unbeaten attendance record at home and away games? Have you gone to incredible lengths to support your team? Inspire us with your super fan stories to win. Here’s how: Tell us about your biggest fan moment (150 – 500 words is fine). Submit a photo, painting or drawing with a short caption on your biggest fan moment. Or create a 1 – 3 minute video outlining why you’re the biggest super fan and send us the YouTube link. Send your written entry, photo, picture or video to our competitions email address with ‘super fan’ in the subject line to enter. Don’t forget to include a contact phone number and tell us which team you support! iiNet’s super fan search will close on Saturday September 15th 2012 – see our terms and conditions for more information. Terms and Conditions of Entry This document sets out the terms and conditions for iiNet’s Super Fan search competition 2012. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. By entering the competition, entrants (“you”) indicate that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. Eligibility The compeitition is open to all permanent residents of Australia over the age of 18 at time of entry. Employees of iiNet Ltd are not eligible to win any prize associated with the competition. Competition The competition will run until September 15th 2012. On this date, entries will close and eight winners will be chosen who will each receive a season pass for their preferred home team. A maximum of one prize per NBL team will be offered. To be eligible for this competition you must email competitions@iinet.net.au and submit your competition entry (photo, story, song, video or other creative entry). Entries must be completed and submitted following the instructions above to be eligible. Entries cannot be submitted by any other form or method. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected orders/entries. You may enter as many times as you like. Entry to the competition is free; however any costs associated with accessing the website are your responsibility and may depends on your Internet service provider. Submissions must not be false, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, libellous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, harassing, abusive, threatening, racially offensive, offensively directed towards people based on their gender, sexual orientation or otherwise discriminatory or be otherwise objectionable. If there is any question as to what constitutes objectionable material under these Terms of Use, the Promoter is the final arbiter of what does or does not constitute objectionable material. Submissions must not be harmful to minors in any way. Submissions must not and must not be intended to exploit any material for commercial purposes or advertise or solicit funds. Submissions must not use the competition to advocate or offer instructions as to illegal activities or to violate any applicable laws. Submissions must be your original work. Submissions must not be in violation of the guidelines set forth in these Terms of Use. Any such actions shall be a material breach of these Terms of Use. The Promoter will remove any Submissions that violate any provision of these Terms of Use and will cooperate fully with any law enforcement officials and/or agencies in the investigation of any violator or violators. Incomplete, inaudible, incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed invalid as determined by the Promoter. This decision will be final and no correspondence entered into. iiNet reserves the right to verify the validity of all submissions. Submissions that aren’t fully complying with the above conditions will be deemed invalid. Judging the winner iiNet will judge valid submissions received once the competition is closed. iiNet will judge entries on its creativity, originality and relevance to the competition. The finalists will be as announced by the Promoter on iiNet’s blog, social media channels and / or direct contact. Decisions are final, subject to the deliberations of the appointed judging panel. iiNet will not enter into correspondence about its decision. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. The prize Eight competition entrants will receive a double pass for their NBL team, valid for the 2012 / 2013 season. Only one prize will be offered per NBL team. Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged and must be redeemed within 3 months from the date that the winner is notified. In order to claim their prize, each winner must supply proof of identity. Intellectual property By entering a submission, you agree to assign all rights in the submission and any other material submitted as part of or in connection with a submission (“material”) to iiNet. You consent to iiNet using the submission and material in any manner iiNet wishes (including modifying, adapting or publishing the submission and material in whole or in part or not at all), by way of all media, including, without limitation, posting your submission and material (whether in original form or a modified or adapted by iiNet as permitted under this paragraph) on iiNet’s website and social mediums without payment to you (of royalties, compensation or otherwise) General terms Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify contact details provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss or damage suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss either directly or indirectly) as a result of entering this promotion, or receiving, accepting or using any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. The decision of the Promoter in relation to any matter concerning the promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its discretion to modify the terms of the promotion including the prize, the offer period and these conditions of entry. All personal information is collected for the purpose of the conduct of the competition. This information will not be disclosed to any other organisation except with the express consent of the entrant. Failure to provide the information required will result in the entry being void. The promoter is not responsible for loss of the prize. The promoter reserves the right to syndicate activity to any and all social media websites nominated by the contestant or any person engaging with the competition. The promoter reserves the right to alter the structure of the competition, the entry requirements and any other aspects of the competition at its discretion. |
