Received a First Night DVD from Bell Shakespeare and a WEM from Toowong village for a lip gloss - my son wasnt too impressed when I asked him to go in and get for me as he had a business meeting at Toowong. But he did bless him.

The highlight of the day though has been the arrival of the Cadbury binoculars!! Goodness me I'm set now!

Yes they are extremely underwhelming - I can't see how they can reasonably say these are worth $10 even with the usually inflated competition prize values.

Unexpected delivery of quite a large Lalaloopsy Doll today - perfect Christmas gift for Miss Six - but absolutely NO idea where it's from! Had thought it could be from Total Girl but she's not on the winners' lists!
And four of my Mum's craft group won the Patons' knitting book subscriptions after I recommended they enter - apparently the craft group was buzzing with excitement yesterday so deejay you have many older ladies who are very much appreciative of your post!

I won a lovely rug from facebook this week  :D.  Haven't done much comping at all so it was a lovely surprise.

Off subject here, just an aside for those who may have won a holiday that included insurance.... my daughter won an o/s holiday earlier this year, it was all booked but she's become very ill, it's just cost her almost $800 to change dates.  Even though the insurance is part of the prize, it comes under the wording "all aspects of the prize must be taken together".  So, even though the wording of the insurance says it covers you if you can't go, if you want to claim on that insurance, it then is not available as part of the prize in it's entirety (because it's been used!).  .......therefore all aspects of the prize are not available for the new date. (Can you understand this??). 

I offered to purchase new insurance (as this would have at least only cost around $300), but the terms do not allow for it  :?.  Sigh. So, if you do win, and book a reasonable time in advance of departure, make sure you buy your own insurance anyway so it doesn't become such a costly venture, which only adds to the problems (the reasons for postponing) you already have.  The only alternative, apparently, was not to go at all.

A few little wins this week two double movie passes to the Italian Film Festival and Kath and Kimderella dble movie pass, a dvd Salmon Fishing in the Yemen and a bottle of Dick Smith's sauce. I'm still trying to crack the Priceline comp!!!
