Terms & Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these terms and conditions;
however, to the extent that there is any inconsistency between these terms and
conditions and any other published material, these terms and conditions will prevail. By
participating in this Promotion, each participant fully and unconditionally agrees and
acknowledges that these terms and conditions are binding. The Judges’ decision is final
and no correspondence will be entered into.
2. Entry is open to all residents of Australia, who are 25 years of age and over with a
current Australian Driver’s licence (“Eligible entrants”). Employees of the Promoter and
their immediate families and its agencies and Companies associated with this promotion,
are not eligible to enter.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner provides proof of age, identity
and residency prior to awarding the prize. Identification considered suitable for
verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
4. The competition commences on Saturday 15 September 2012 at 12.01am (AEST)
and concludes on Thursday 1 November 2012 at 11.59pm (ADST).
5. To enter this Promotion, Eligible Entrants must during the Promotion Period go to
http://promotions.drive.com.au/s3/RacingHoliday (http://promotions.drive.com.au/s3/RacingHoliday) and complete the Entry Form. One entry per household will be
allowed in this promotion. Additional entries will be granted to each eligible entrant, for
each referred friend.
6. The Draw from all eligible entries will take place at 3.00pm (ADST) on Monday 5
November 2012 at 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay NSW, 2089. The winner will be
determined by way of a random selection from a computer database containing all
Entries from Eligible Entrants.
7. The first eligible entry drawn will be the Winner of the Grand Prize, which is a choice
of one of these three Prizes:
Prize Choice 1: 2013 Monaco F1 Grand Prix, 26 May.
• Return Economy airfares for 2 adults, including all taxes, for the Winner and their
travel companion from the Winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Nice, France.
• Hire of a car for three days, including Insurance which will reduce the Excess to the
lowest amount possible, but not eliminated. The Winner must be 25 years or over and
hold a current Driver’s Licence, valid in any Australian State or Territory. The Winner will
be responsible for any damage, fines or fees which may be incurred outside the Hire
Contract. The Driver will be asked to provide a Credit Card to cover any possible costs
outside the Hire Contract. The Driver will need to collect and deliver the car back at an
agreed location in Nice. The hiring of the Vehicle is subject to booking availabilities and
the Conditions of the Hire Company. $500 will be provided for Petrol.
• 4 night’s twin share accommodation in a 4 Star hotel, selected by Expedia, in Nice or
Monte Carlo or other locations selected by the winner, with breakfasts.
• General Entry passes to one day of the 2013 Monaco F1 Grand Prix.
Prize Choice 2: 2013 24 hour Le Mans Endurance Race, Le Mans, France, 15 – 16
June.
• Return Economy airfares for 2 adults, including all taxes, for the Winner and their
travel companion from the Winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Paris, France.
• Hire of a car for three days to drive to Le Mans, France. Including Insurance which will
reduce the Excess to the lowest amount possible, but not eliminated. The Winner must
be 25 years or over and hold a current Driver’s Licence, valid in any Australian State or
Territory. The Winner will be responsible for any damage, fines or fees which may be
incurred outside the Hire Contract. The Driver will be asked to provide a Credit Card to
cover any possible costs outside the Hire Contract. The Driver will need to collect and
deliver the car back at an agreed location in Paris. The hiring of the Vehicle is subject to
booking availabilities and the Conditions of the Hire Company. $500 will be provided for
Petrol.

travel companion from the Winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Geneva,
Switzerland.
• Hire of a car for three days. Including Insurance which will reduce the Excess to the
lowest amount possible, but not eliminated. The Winner must be 25 years or over and
hold a current Driver’s Licence, valid in any Australian State or Territory. The Winner will
be responsible for any damage, fines or fees which may be incurred outside the Hire
Contract. The Driver will be asked to provide a Credit Card to cover any possible costs
outside the Hire Contract. The Driver will need to collect and deliver the car back at an
agreed location in Geneva. The hiring of the Vehicle is subject to booking availabilities
and the Conditions of the Hire Company. $500 will be provided for Petrol.

Expedia, in Geneva or other locations selected by the winner.
• General Entry passes to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, for one day.
The maximum retail value of this Prize is $10,000, which is correct at the time of
publication. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in the Prize value.
8. The winner will be notified by email within 2 working days of the draw and the
winner’s name will be published on the drive website: http://promotions.drive.com.au/s3/RacingHoliday (http://promotions.drive.com.au/s3/RacingHoliday) and in the
Australian Financial Review on Friday 16 November 2012.
9. The Prize must be booked and completed by 31 July 2013 and is subject to booking
availabilities of all elements.
10. The Winner and their nominated travelling companion must travel at the same time,
must depart from the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their
residence to their nearest capital city for flight departure. Air tickets are for economy
travel on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal
embargos. The flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airline's
departure city and their current flight schedule.
Frequent Flyer points are not available from any airline in respect of flights awarded
under this Promotion. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the
winner at check-in to the hotel, which may be used in relation to incidental charges
(which are not included in the Prize).
Once accommodation is paid for this will be non-changeable. It is the travellers' personal
responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to
valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other
government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or
expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of
those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the travellers.
The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that
may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various
sources, including government, local consular offices and the web site of the Australian
Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Travel must be taken at the time specified by the Promoter and must coincide with the
dates specified in these terms and conditions.
If the Winner and their travelling companion is, for whatever reason, unable to travel on
a nominated date, or do not take an element of the Prize within the time stipulated by the
Promoter then that element of the Prize will be forfeited by the Winner. Cash will not be
awarded in lieu of the Prize or any element thereof with the exception of Petrol.
11. Changes and cancellations to any booking may be subject to fees payable by the
winner. Unless otherwise specified, spending money, meals, taxes (other than
airline/airport taxes), insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from
departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other
ancillary costs are not included. Unless otherwise stated in the Prize details, flights are
based on departures from a pre-determined airport, detailed within the Prize details.
Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred
in the event of unforeseen circumstances. If any part of the Prize is unavailable, the
Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the
Prize) with a Prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any law or written
directions from a regulatory authority.
12. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not claim, use or accept
this prize at or within the time stipulated by the Promoter, the prize will be forfeited by the
Winner.
13. If the Prize is not claimed by Tuesday 5 February 2013, the Promoter may conduct
such further draws at 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089 as may be necessary
to apportion the unclaimed Prize. The Promoter will comply with any applicable
legislation regarding any unclaimed Prize and any written directions of any competent
authority in that regard. If permitted by the applicable legislation, the Promoter will
conduct a redraw on Tuesday 19 February 2013 at 3.00pm (AEST).
Any winner will be notified by email within 2 working days of the draw and the winner’s

Notices section of The Australian Financial Review on Friday 22 February 2013.
Eligible Entrants are responsible for keeping the Promoter informed of any changes to
their contact information during and immediately following the Promotion Period. To
claim the Prize, the winner must respond to the notification in the manner that will be set
out in the notification letter.
14. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its employees and
associated agencies disclaim liability for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but
not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury that is suffered or
sustained in connection with any participant’s participation in this Promotion or the
acceptance of the Prize.
The Winner indemnifies the Promoter, its employees and associated agencies against
any liability, injury, loss or damage which may be suffered, incurred or sustained by the
Promoter, its employees or associated agencies arising out of, relating to, or in any way
connected with, any act or omission (including negligence) by the Winner.
15. No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter or its agents for late, lost or misdirected
email.
16. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any
telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer
equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any
website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or
any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading
any materials in this competition.
17. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned including
infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical
failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect
the administration security, fairness integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the
Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers
with the entry process.
18. The Promoter collects personal information from all participants in order to conduct
the Promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the participant may not
participate in the Promotion or claim the Prize. Their entry will be discarded. It is a
condition of entry into the Promotion that the Winner consents to the publication of their
name and city of origin in any advertisements or articles relating to the Promotion or the
Prize and participates in any media releases, which may include photographs of the
Winner by the Promoter.
19. By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to sign up to The Driver’s Seat
Newsletter as well as receive promotional information from all Fairfax Brands or Prize
partners who are involved in this Promotion.
20. All entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering this promotion,
participants consent to the use of their names and likenesses in this manner. The
Promoter’s treatment and storage of personal information will be handled in accordance

Just a heads up...I kept getting an error on this one when trying to enter the date of birth section.

If you enter it the way it asks for it, you end up with an error.

It needs to be DD/MM/YYYY, as opposed to the MM/DD/YYYY it comes up with an error for.
