The first eligible entry drawn will be the Winner of the Grand Prize, which is a choice of one of these three Prizes: Prize Choice 1: 2013 Monaco F1 Grand Prix, 26 May. • Return Economy airfares for 2 adults, including all taxes, for the Winner and their travel companion from the Winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Nice, France. • Hire of a car for three days, including Insurance which will reduce the Excess to the lowest amount possible, but not eliminated. The maximum retail value of this Prize is $10,000, which is correct at the time of publication. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in the Prize value. 8. The winner will be notified by email within 2 working days of the draw and the winner’s name will be published on the drive website: http://promotions.drive.com.au/s3/RacingHoliday (http://promotions.drive.com.au/s3/RacingHoliday) and in the Australian Financial Review on Friday 16 November 2012. 9. The Prize must be booked and completed by 31 July 2013 and is subject to booking availabilities of all elements. 10. The Winner and their nominated travelling companion must travel at the same time, must depart from the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest capital city for flight departure. Air tickets are for economy travel on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. The flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airline's departure city and their current flight schedule. Frequent Flyer points are not available from any airline in respect of flights awarded under this Promotion. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, which may be used in relation to incidental charges (which are not included in the Prize). Once accommodation is paid for this will be non-changeable. It is the travellers' personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the travellers. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices and the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Travel must be taken at the time specified by the Promoter and must coincide with the dates specified in these terms and conditions. If the Winner and their travelling companion is, for whatever reason, unable to travel on a nominated date, or do not take an element of the Prize within the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the Prize will be forfeited by the Winner. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the Prize or any element thereof with the exception of Petrol. 11. Changes and cancellations to any booking may be subject to fees payable by the winner. Unless otherwise specified, spending money, meals, taxes (other than airline/airport taxes), insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Unless otherwise stated in the Prize details, flights are based on departures from a pre-determined airport, detailed within the Prize details. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances. If any part of the Prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a Prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any law or written directions from a regulatory authority. 12. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not claim, use or accept this prize at or within the time stipulated by the Promoter, the prize will be forfeited by the Winner. 13. If the Prize is not claimed by Tuesday 5 February 2013, the Promoter may conduct such further draws at 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089 as may be necessary to apportion the unclaimed Prize. The Promoter will comply with any applicable legislation regarding any unclaimed Prize and any written directions of any competent authority in that regard. If you enter it the way it asks for it, you end up with an error. It needs to be DD/MM/YYYY, as opposed to the MM/DD/YYYY it comes up with an error for. |
