This competition ("Competition") is conducted by CRC Industries (Aust) pty Ptd ABN: 77 000 725 833 ("the Promoter"), 9 Gladstone Road, Castle Hill NSW 2154. 2. Entry to the Competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these terms and conditions of the Competition. 3. The Competition is only open to individuals who: (i) are residents of Australia aged 21 years or older as at time of entry; and (ii) are not employees of the Promoter or any of its related corporations or any of their agencies associated with the Competition; and (iii) are not a spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto partner, ex-de-facto partner, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, grandchild, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin of such an employee; and (iv) hold a current driver's licence ("Eligible Entrant");. 4. Competition entry commences at 09:00 hrs on 19/7/12 and closes at 23:59 hrs on 25/09/12 ("Entry Period"). Except as otherwise stated, all times are Australian Eastern Standard time. 5. Except as otherwise indicated, all amounts stated in these conditions are stated in Australian dollars. ENTRY 6. To enter the Competition, an Eligible Entrant must during the Entry Period, use a compatible browser to visit www.shannonssupercarshowdown.com.au ("Competition Website") and must fully complete the entry form including first name, last name, email address, phone number, age, address, answer in 25 words or less 'Why we should pick you as the Official Kitten Team Detailer?' and tick the box agreeing to the Competition's terms and conditions. To be a valid entry, the Eligible Entrant must, during the Entry Period, provide all the details required by the Promoter. An Eligible Entrant can only enter once this way Cost of entry via the internet is free, but internet connection and usage rates may apply. Eligible Entrants should obtain details of such costs from their service providers. 7. Only valid entries received from Eligible Entrants during the Entry Period will be accepted. Entries will be deemed received at the time that the Promoter is satisfied that the relevant requirements under conditions 6 have been met and not at the time of submission by the Eligible Entrant. The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, illegible or misdirected entries or delays or failures in any telecommunications service or equipment. 8. The Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, declare any or all entries made by an Eligible Entrant invalid if the Eligible Entrant tampers with the entry process, benefits from such tampering or submits an entry that is illegible, incomplete or not in accordance with these conditions. INTERNET ENTRIES 9. Eligible Entrants must submit their internet entries manually. The Promoter may reject internet entries if it reasonably forms the opinion that they have been entered using automated entry means or by use of a competition entry service. 10. There is no cost for entering the Competition, but when entering via the internet, internet connection and usage rates may apply. Eligible Entrants should obtain details of such costs from their service providers. WINNER AND PRIZES 11. The Competition is a game of skill in which chance plays no part. 12. No later than 26th September the Promoter will judge the entries. The entries will be judged on creativity. The entry that is judged to be the best entry will win the Prize ("Prize Winner"). There is only one Prize. The Judges decision is Final. No further correspondence will be entered into. 13. The Prize is the opportunity to be the Official Kitten Team Detailer with the Shannons Racing Team entry at Round 11 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 of the V8 Supercars Championship, including: - 1 nights accommodation of the Promoter's choice for 1 adult adjacent to the Mount Panorama Motor Racing Track, Bathurst NSW, in a shared facility with the race team. Check in: Saturday 6th October 2012 Check out: Sunday 7th October 2012. - Transfers from the accommodation to Mount Panorama Motor Racing Track, Bathurst NSW - 1 adult ticket to the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 for Sunday 7th October 2012. - The opportunity to join the Shannons Racing Team and prepare the race car on Sunday 7th October 2012. - Photo opportunity with Grant Denyer and the winner of the Shannons Supercar Showdown on Sunday 7th October 2012. - All meals will be provided. - Kitten branded uniform. - Kitten Car Care pack valued at $250. - Additionally, if the winner usually resides outside of New South Wales, the following will also be included: 1 adult economy class airfare (including taxes): From the winner's nearest Australian capital city (to their usual residence) to Sydney; on the Saturday 6th October 2012, and From Sydney back to the winner's nearest Australian capital city; on the Sunday 7th October 2012. 2 days car hire. Pick up at Sydney Airport on Saturday 6th October 2012, and return to Sydney Airport on Sunday 7th October 2012. - If the winner usually resides in New South Wales, they will be required to make their own way to the accommodation on Saturday 6th October and return on Sunday 7th October 2012. 14. The Prize does not (except as expressly stated) include travel costs to and from the points of departure, excess baggage, any additional meals and drinks, transfer costs, taxes, levies and charges, passports, insurance (such as travel insurance or any additional cost of non mandated insurance or policy excess reduction in relation to the hire vehicle), medical or health related services, additional accommodation, additional spending money, extension of stay, additional passengers, tours and other ancillary costs. These are the responsibility of the Prize winner. 15. The Prize winner is responsible for any amendment fees or charges once the booking has been confirmed. Flights may not be changed once the booking has been confirmed. 16. Flights and accommodation are subject to booking and availability and confirmation by the travel supplier at the time of booking. All bookings are subject to the travel supplier's booking conditions. Subject to this condition 16, the Prize must be taken on the dates as specified in condition 13. 17. The Prize winner is responsible for ensuring that they have all necessary documents and permissions to travel to the relevant destination. 18. If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, substitute alternative goods or services of no lesser retail value and/or equivalent specification. The Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by the Prize winner or any other party if the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable for any reason. 19. Subject to conditions 18, the Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable, and non-redeemable for another prize including cash. 20. Where car hire is included in the Prize, the Prize winner must be aged 21 years or over and must have a current Australian driver's licence. The car hire is also subject to any terms and conditions specified by the car hire provider. If these conditions are not met, the car hire component of the Prize will be forfeited by the Prize winner and any costs or liabilities incurred by the hire car driver will not be the responsibility of the Promoter. The Promoter will not be liable for the failure of the Prize winner to attend the event, for whatever reason. 21. The Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 ticket is subject to it's own terms and conditions. PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO THE PRIZE GENERALLY 22. The Prize is valued at up to $3,350 including GST. 23. The Prize is valued as at 10/07/12. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in the Prize's value. 24. The Promoter reserves the right to prohibit entry and evict the Prize Winner from the accommodation and/or Bathurst Motor Racing Track if they under the influence of drugs or alcohol, disorderly, or engage in inappropriate behavior or vandalism. 25. The Winner must abide by all instructions from the Race Team manager at Bathurst Motor Racing Track. WINNER OF THE PRIZE 26. The Prize winner will be notified by a phone call to the number provided by them in their entry. 27. The Prize notification will state that the winner has won the Prize and will include instructions as to how the Prize winner is to claim the Prize and establish his/her entitlement to it. The person who receives the Prize notification must confirm their eligibility to be awarded the Prize by 27th September, otherwise their entry will be deemed invalid and a redraw will be conducted as per Condition 29. 28. The name of the Prize Winner will also be published at the Competition Website within 7 days of the Prize being won (including if the Prize is won under any redraw in accordance with condition 29), for a period of at least 1 week. 29. Subject, where relevant, to any directions given under the laws regulating the Competition, if the Prize is: (i) not claimed by the Prize winner or the Promoter has been unable to successfully notify the Prize winner within 2 days of the draw for the Prize; (ii) forfeited for any reason; or (iii) the Prize winner is determined by the Promoter to be ineligible in accordance with condition 27, the Prize will be awarded to the next best entry in a redraw for the Prize. Any such redraw will take place on the 28th September 2012 . The Prize winner will be notified by a phone call to the number provided by them in their entry. The person who receives the Prize notification must confirm their eligibility to be awarded the Prize by 1st October, otherwise they will forfeit the prize. GENERAL 30. If for any reason the conduct or operation of the Competition is interfered with or disrupted in any way (including by vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternate prize in accordance with condition 19 to the same value as the original prize or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend or recommence the Competition, subject to the approval of the authorities that have issued permits for its conduct. 31. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for: (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Promoter or any Eligible Entrant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise, (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of such communications; (iii) any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Competition; (iv) any incorrect or incomplete information which may be communicated in the course of the administering this Competition (whether as a result of one of the foregoing causes or otherwise); (v) any delay in delivery, or failure of safe delivery of the Prize. 32. The Prize winner accepts the Prize at his or her own risk. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agencies and any of their personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant in connection with the Competition or Prize, including without limitation: (i) any indirect, economic or consequential loss; (ii) any loss arising from the negligence of a Relevant Party; (iii) any liability for personal injury or death. The Promoter may request that the Prize winner sign and return a deed of release to this effect as a condition of the Prize being awarded. If the Prize winner fails to sign and return such release, the Prize winner may forfeit the Prize. 33. Each Winner consents by entering the Competition to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including any photograph, film and/or recording of them) in any media at any time or times without compensation, financial or otherwise, for the purpose of promoting this Competition, the Promoter and/or any of the Promoter's products. PRIVACY 34. Eligible Entrants' personal information will be collected by or on behalf of the Promoter to enable it to administer the Competition and publicise the Prize winner. The personal information of the Prize winner may be provided to others assisting in the conduct of the Competition, including the Competition administrator, Prize suppliers and deliverers, and to regulatory authorities. The Promoter will disclose the Prize winner's first initial, surname, suburb and State of residence to the media, who will publish these details. Persons may contact the Promoter by post at the address stated in condition 1 to request access to, or corrections of, any of their collected personal information that is held by the Promoter. If an Eligible Entrant does not provide accurate personal information the Promoter may determine that they are not eligible to win the Prize. |
