Terms and Conditions of entry for King Furniture – Delta Outdoor competition

Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions.

The Promoter is King Furniture Australia Pty. Ltd. of 123 Turrella Street, Turrella, NSW, 2205. Phone 02 9597 6466.

Employees of King Furniture and their immediate families are ineligible to enter, as are suppliers to King Furniture.

This promotion is run through a recognised Facebook application.

The competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who live in the following Australian states and territories: NSW, QLD, ACT, VIC, NT, WA, TAS and SA.

Entry:

To enter, participants visit a King Furniture showroom, take a fun photo on their favourite King Furniture design and include a creative caption (10 words or less) for the chance to WIN a new Delta Outdoor Sofa! Entries without the required information will be deemed incomplete and will not count towards an entry into the Promotion. Participants who live in an Australian state where there is no local King Furniture showroom can still enter – have a friend or family member (who lives in QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC or SA) visit a showroom and take a picture on your behalf to upload.

To be eligible to win, contestants must upload their image (via the contests application) and write a creative (10 words or less) to accompany their photo. Participants can enter once during the life of the competition (9.00am Thursday 27th September to 11.59pm Sunday 21st October 2012). All times referred to in these conditions are all Australian Eastern Standard Time. Entries must be submitted by 11:59pm on Sunday 21st October 2012 (AEST).

The winners will be contacted on Wednesday 24th October 2012 through notification by phone and/or email.

The winner announced is final and partly based on the winner’s knowledge of the product and the creativeness of their image and caption as judged by King Furniture. No correspondence will be entered into.

The winner agrees to have their name and state announced on King Furniture’s Facebook on Thursday 25th October 2012.

King Furniture will not disclose the winning entries to maintain the privacy of entrants.
King Furniture will arrange delivery only to metro cities where there is a King Furniture showroom located this includes NSW, QLD, ACT, VIC and SA.

If the delivery address for the prize is not within the metro areas of cities with King Furniture Showrooms, the winner must cover the transport/delivery cost for their prize.

If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, we are entitled in our sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and (subject to any written directions given by the various Lotteries Departments), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.

Entrants’ details may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.

King Furniture is not responsible for lost, late, incomprehensible or incorrect entries in the competition.

We also accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from prize winnings in the competition. You should seek Independent financial advice about such matters.

Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify King Furniture.

King Furniture is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by you or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of the competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.

In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or (without limitation) any other event outside our reasonable control, we are entitled to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition – subject to any written directions from the various regulatory bodies responsible for supervising the conduct of the competition (the Lotteries Departments).

Prize:

There is one Delta Outdoor Sofa (components include: 1 x rectangle 800S, 1 x rectangle 1600S, 3 x backs, 1 x arm / table rectangles) as the prize, and it will be awarded to one winner.

Winner must take the prize as offered. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.

The prize is non-refundable and not transferable.

King Furniture will arrange delivery only to metro cities where there is a King Furniture showroom located this includes NSW, QLD, ACT, VIC and SA.

If delivery is not arranged by the Winner within 4 weeks of the completion of this competition (by 18 November 2012) the prize will expire and be made void after this date.

The winner releases King Furniture from any and all causes of action, losses, liability, damage, expense (including legal expenses), cost or charge suffered, sustained or in any way incurred by the winner as a result of any loss or damage to any physical property of the winner, or any injury to or death of any person arising out of, or related to, or in any way connected with the Promoters or the prize.

By participating in the competition you are agreeing to provide your information to King Furniture to contact you about future promotions and marketing information. King Furniture will not use or send the information submitted to us to another party.
