ONE tells the story of the essential drive humans have to connect with each other while struggling for self-preservation in the most difficult of circumstances. ONE is an exploration of the things we all have in common – loneliness, rubbish and ultimately, each other. Gilbert Douglas and Susan Doel’s seven lines of movement weave throughout this piece creating a work that is expressive and dynamic in a unique piece of live performance. The original score for ONE has been composed by Daniel Soffner, a classical musician and electro punk composer from Germany.
