1) Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions.
2) Entry is open only to all residents of QLD over 18 years of age.
3) The Promoter is mX Newspaper Brisbane. Employees of mX Newspaper and their advertising agencies,
newsagents, sub-agents, respective employees and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
4) The competition commences 12:00pm on Thursday 11th October 2012 and closes at 1.00am on Friday
12th October 2012.
5) To enter, readers must SMS their name, address, daytime contact number, and the competition line as
printed in mX on Thursday 11th October 2012.
6) There will be four (4) winners.
7) Winners will be notified by phone, and published online at mxnet.com.au on Friday 12th October 2012
8) The winners will be determined by a random computerised draw. Prizes will be randomly allocated to
winners. The draw will take place on Friday 12th October 2012 at News Queensland, Corner Campbell Street & Mayne Road, Bowen Hills
Four (4) entries will receive the following prize (total prize value $312):
A General Admission double pass ticket to “Gold Coast Sevens Fever Pitch” on Saturday October 13.
9) Prizes must be taken as offered. No modifications or exchanges will be possible and prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash or kind. The promoter takes no responsibility for start up or ongoing costs associated with the prize delivered.
10) The Promoter, Gold Coast Sevens or Australian Rugby Union take no responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate contact information provided on competition entry. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct and accurate contact details, including address and postcode.
11) Any change in the value of the prizes between the publishing date and when the date prizes are claimed is not the responsibility of the promoter/s.
12) The Promoter and each of their related bodies corporate, and their officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
13) All entries become the property of the Promoters. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter may use the entrants’ names, addresses and responses for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.
14) The winner agrees to participate in any news media activities surrounding the promotion.
15) mX Newspaper collects your information to include you in this competition and will disclose the information to others who help us run the competition. The winning entries will be as per paragraph 8 above. We may also use the information to assist us in improving our goods and services and to contact you in the future in regard to our other goods and services. We may share your information with other persons or entities that assist us in
performing the above or with another company which provides prizes for the competition or reader offer.
16) mX Newspaper is part of a global media and entertainment company which, in Australia, publishes newspapers, magazines and distributes movies (among other things).
