1.Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions. By entering, entrants accept these conditions. 2.Entry is open only to Australian residents excluding directors, officers, management and employees (and the immediate families of directors, officers, management and employees) of the Promoter, or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition. Entrants under 18 must obtain permission from their parent/guardian before entering. 3.The competition begins at 12.01am (AEST) 1/09/12 and closes at 11.59am (AEDST) on 27/10/12 (Competition Period). 4.To enter, consumers must, during the Competition Period; a. purchase a specially marked Dr.Oetker Papa Guiseppi’s frozen pizza (Eligible Purchase) from a participating supermarket chain, locate the unique code found inside the specially marked Eligible Purchase pack; and b. visit www.papagiuseppis.com.au to fully complete and submit the online entry form, including by providing their full name, address, email address, phone number and the unique code found on the inside of the Eligible Purchase pack and any additional information as required by the Promoter. Consumers are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the Internet. 5.All entries must be received by the Promoter during the Competition Period. Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by the Promoter’s database and not at the time of submission by the entrant. Entrants may enter as many times as they wish, provided that each entry is based on a separate Eligible Purchase and a separate unique code. Entrants must retain their original Eligible Purchase receipt(s) to verify each entry. Failure to provide this/these (without alteration) to the Promoter upon request may, at the Promoter’s discretion, result in an invalid entry (and, at the Promoter’s discretion, in all of the entrant’s entries being invalid). The Promoter is not liable for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence due to error, omission, tampering, deletion, theft, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over communications networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error 6.Each valid entry submitted during the Competition Period in accordance with paragraph 4 will receive a voucher (via email) to be redeemed before 16/12/12 at a participating Blockbuster store for one new release movie valued at $4.50 (inc GST) and subject to clause 17 of these conditions. 7.Each valid entry submitted in accordance with paragraph 4 between 1/09/12 and 27/10/12 will be entered into the Daily Prize draw. All valid entries submitted in accordance with paragraph 4 during the Competition Period will be entered into the Major Prize draw. 8.Daily draws will be conducted on each day at 4pm (AEST/AEDST) from 1/09/12 until 27/10/12 (inclusive) at Prime Focus, 403/62 Beach St, Port Melbourne VIC 3207 The first valid entry randomly drawn from all valid entries received (excluding previous daily prize draw winners) will win the Daily Prize. 9.There are 57 Daily Prizes to be won during the Competition Period. Each Daily Prize is a 16GB Tablet computer (with Wifi) (make and model as determined by the Promoter) valued at up to $500 (inc GST). 10.The Major Prize draw will be conducted at 12noon on 1/11/12 (AEDST) at Prime Focus, 403/62 Beach Street, Port Melbourne, VIC 3207. The first three valid entries randomly drawn from all valid entries received (including any daily prize draw winning entries) will each win a Major Prize. 11.There are 3 major prizes to be won during the competition period. Each major prize is a trip to the Gold Coast for the winner and 3 companions consisting of return economy class airfares (including airfare taxes) for the winner and their companions from the winner’s nearest Australian capital city to the Gold Coast, Queensland, travel allowance valued up to $200, 5 nights accommodation (twin share) in a minimum 4 star two bedroom apartment 4 x theme park super passes and 4 x VIP tickets to The Australian Outback Show. Flights and accommodation are subject to booking and availability and must be booked at least one month in advance of travel. The prize cannot be taken during specified event/peak/public and school holiday periods or any other exclusion periods as specified by the Promoter and or the prize supplier/s. All other costs associated with the prize, including but not limited to any additional transfer costs, additional taxes, insurance and other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner and their companions, as incurred. The winner and their companions must depart and return at the same time. The prize is subject to any additional terms and conditions specified by the prize supplier/s. Any person taking the trip who is aged under 18 years at the date of the trip must be accompanied by their parent or guardian. The prize is valued at up to $5,000.00 (inc GST), depending on the winner’s point of departure. 12.The total prize pool is valued at up to $2,743,500.00 (inc GST). 13.Daily Prize winners will be notified in writing within 2 days of the relevant draw and will have their name and state/territory of residence published on the website within 7 days of the relevant Daily Prize draw for at least 1 week and all Daily Prize winners’ details will be published in The Australian on 8/11/12. By entering this competition, each entrant requests that his or her full address not be published. 14.Major prize winners will be notified by phone and in writing within 2 days of the draw and will have their name and state/territory of residence published in The Australian on 8/11/12. By entering this competition, each entrant requests that his or her full address not be published. 15.The prize winners and their companions must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of any prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and image in promotional material. 16.If the winner of the trip to the Gold Coast prize is under the age of 18 years at the closing date of the competition, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian on the winner’s behalf. 17.All vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions as imposed by the participating Blockbuster store, including period of validity. Vouchers will only be redeemable at participating Blockbuster stores. Normal membership and rental conditions apply at the time of hire. Voucher redemption limited to one voucher per membership per day. See in store for details. 18.The Promoter may require winners to provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion. 19.If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of that prize will be determined by drawing a further valid entry in accordance with paragraph 7 or 9, as applicable. 20.The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the competition or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent or effect of annoying, abusing, threatening or harassing any other person. The Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Major Prize or otherwise cease to provide any benefit of the Major Prize to a winner (and their companions, if applicable) if the Major Prize winner (or their companions, if applicable), in the opinion of the Promoter, is under the influence of alcohol or any other drug, behaves aggressively or offensively, or behaves in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related bodies corporate or the agencies or companies associated with this competition, is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate. 21.The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 22.Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If for any reason a winner does not take an element of a prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. If a prize or any element of a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute for that prize or element of that prize another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoter, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory if required. 23.If any Daily or Major Prize is not accepted or claimed within 3 months of the Major Prize draw date, the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter will conduct such further draws at 12pm on 4/02/13 at the same time and location as the original draw as are necessary to distribute any remaining prize/s, subject to any requirements of any gaming authority. Any winners in this draw will be notified in writing and by phone immediately after the draw and will have their name and state/territory of residence published on the website and in The Australian on 11/02/13. 24.The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). 25.Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage or delay in transit to prizes. 26.If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory if required. 27.The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where this competition involves, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants will follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values. 28.All entries will be the property of the Promoter. The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this competition.
