Win one of six $1000 White Runway vouchers


1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. The promotion is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and over only.

3. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Only one entry per person will be permitted.

4. The promotional period commences October 15, 2012, and closes 11.59pm (AEDST) on January 1, 2013. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.

5. Participants may enter the promotion as follows: in 25 words, answer the question “Which bridesmaid dress would you choose from the White Runway website (whiterunway.com.au) and why?” To submit your entry, email your answer to cosmobride@acpmagazines.com.au and include your full name, address and contact phone number.

6. Entries will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit and originality. The promotion will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter and will begin on January 14, 2013 winners will be notified by phone and mail using the contact details provided in their entry by January 21, 2013.

7. The best entry as determined by the judges will be deemed the winner and will receive a $1000 White Runway voucher to spend online at whiterunway.com.au. There are six to be won.

8. Total prize pool is valued at $6000. The $1000 voucher must be claimed within 30 days and used within three months of the winner notification date. Full amount of the voucher must be used in one transaction. Voucher can be used for any product on the website as long as the products are available and in stock in your preferred size. There is only one delivery address applicable to this voucher. The voucher cannot be refunded for cash, transferred, sold or used to purchase further vouchers. White Runway’s Returns Policy applies with any returns made to be issued with an exchange or credit note and not a cash refund.

9. Entries not completed in accordance with the rules and conditions or received after the closing date will not be considered. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.

10. Prize is valued in Australian dollars and are stated as the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at the time they went online. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

11. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter and ACP Magazines Ltd (publisher of Cosmopolitan Bride magazine), including its officers, employees and agents, excludes all liability including negligence for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following:

    (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control)
    (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third-party interference
    (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter
    (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these conditions of entry
    (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant
    (f) redemption of a prize and/or
    (g) participation in the promotion.


12. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries.

13. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this competition are governed by the Privacy Notice (see the contents page of the latest issue of Cosmopolitan Bride magazine). All entries submitted become the property of the Promoter. Entries will not be returned to any entrant. By entering this promotion, entrants warrant to the Promoter that each entry submitted is an original artistic work of the entrant which does not infringe the rights of any third party. The entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter against all claims and costs by third parties arising from a breach of the warranty set out in this condition. The Promoter is entitled to use any of the entries submitted for any purposes at its discretion, including, but not limited to, for any future promotion, marketing and publicity purposes. By entering the competition, the entrant consents to receipt of any email regarding the competition and other emails which inform the entrant of the Promoter’s other publications, products, services and events and to promote third-party goods and services it may be interested in.
