Chocolate, I love it and that is certainly no secret. I try very hard to not eat an entire chocolate bar in a sitting, because I know I will have to work it off at some point, because I do feel a little guilty (even though it taste oh so good!) and because of the amount of sugar.

I know having lots of sugar is not good for me or anyone and a high sugar diet not only contributes to sugar highs and lows but also to obesity and Type-2 diabetes, which scares the bejesus out of me! With this in mind I was introduced to a new No Added Sugar Milk Chocolate Bar that uses stevia. the natural, plant-based sweetener, instead of adding additional sugar to create the sweetness.

It comes in two varieties, creamy milk and fruit & nut and the people behind this no added sugar revolution is  …Well, Naturally, who specialise in some healthy alternatives to popular treats.

Overall it has 80% less sugar than regular milk chocolate and tastes pretty good! I have been treating myself to both the Creamy Milk and Fruit & Nut and they are equally as good. They are smooth and creamy, and the fruit & nut is packed with currents and almonds. They definitely are not as sweet as the main stream brands but are still on the sweet scale and once I had  a few pieces the new taste had really grown on me.

I also certainly didn’t feel the sugar high associated with the main stream chocolate (if I eat too much milk chocolate I sometimes feel a sugar rush).
