15 Winners will each receive the prize of a luxury hamper including $200 worth of Providore Margaret River/Margaret River Chocolate Company produce.




Terms and Conditions

1. By submitting an entry to this promotion the entrant is deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions.
 
2. Entry is open to residents of Australia, New Zealand and Singapore 18 years of age and over and who hold an active & valid Facebook account.  Entry is also open to other international entrants who have liked the Western Australia facebook page.  Entrants from outside Australia, New Zealand and Singapore must provide photographic ID confirming they are above the legal drinking age for their country of residence.  Entrants will be required to provide photographic identification and proof of age prior to award of their prize.

3. Employees of the Promoter and its contractors and agents associated with this promotion and their immediate family, are not eligible to enter.  For the purpose of this clause 'immediate family' means 'spouse, de-facto, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin'.

4. The promotion commences at 11.00am Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time (AEDST) on 5 November 2012 and closes at 11.00am (AEDST) on 3 December 2012 (“Promotional Period”).

5. To enter, entrants must during the Promotional Period go to the Western Australia Fan Page on Facebook (located at www.facebook.com/extraordinarywesternaustralia), click the ‘Tastes of South West’ call to action at the top of the page then submit a 25 word summary answering the question:  From the Gourmet experiences shown on the Tastes of the South West Facebook tab, which would they like to taste and why?
 
6. An entrant may submit multiple entries to the promotion.

7. All eligible entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges from Tourism Western Australia and winners will be selected as being the most creative and inspirational submissions.

8. 15 winners in total will be chosen.  Winners will be chosen at 2.00pm (AEDST) on 12, 19, 26 November 2012 and 3, 10 December 2012 at the offices of Tourism Western Australia, Level 9, 2 Mill Street, Perth WA 6000.  The winners will be notified by phone and in writing via email on each of these dates.
 
9. The Promoter will attempt to contact the winner(s) on the date they were chosen, and for a period of up to 2 days following this date, by phone and in writing via email.  A winner must claim their prize within that period or the prize will be forfeited and another winner selected, if applicable, on 16, 23, 30 November 2012 and 7 and 14 December 2012.

10. Each winner will receive the prize of a luxury hamper including $200 worth of Providore Margaret River/Margaret River Chocolate Company produce:
Maximum retail value is $200 (including GST) per hamper.
If any part of the prize is unavailable, the Promoter, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any law or written directions from a regulatory authority.

11. Prizes are not exchangeable, redeemable or transferrable.

12. The Promoter reserves the right to verify by any means which the Promoter considers necessary the identity of any entrant and to satisfy itself that the entrant has fulfilled these Terms and Conditions.  The entrant must co-operate fully with the Promoter in any verification process.

13. If an entrant breaches any of these Terms and Conditions, acts unlawfully, tampers or attempts to tamper with the promotion, jeopardises the fair and proper conduct of the promotion, or acts improperly or unethically (each in the Promoter's sole opinion), the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the entry and any prize will be forfeited.

14. The Promoter's decision is final and binding.  No correspondence will be entered into.

15. The Promoter may suspend, vary or cancel the promotion at any time.

16. If the promotion is being conducted electronically:
a) the time of entry will in each case be the time the online entry is received by the Promoters database. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason;
b) any costs associated with accessing the promotional website or downloading the entry application are the entrant’s responsibility and may depend on the entrant’s usage plan; and
c) the entrant must not submit an entry which includes any computer virus or other harmful computer software.

17. The Promoter reserves the right to contact any entrant in connection with future promotions.  If an entrant does not want this to occur, the entrant must notify the Promoter in writing.

18. All entries become the property of the Promoter.

19. If the promotion involves an entrant submitting the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same), the Promoter may use any of these for any purpose in any media for an unlimited period of time without payment.

20. If the promotion involves the entrant submitting anything in writing, the entrant grants to the Promoter the copyright to it and warrants to the Promoter that it is the entrant's original work.

21. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers, and for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.  Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct personal information to the Promoter.

22. To the fullest extent permitted at law all implied terms and conditions are excluded from these Terms and Conditions.

23. To the fullest extent permitted at law each entrant releases the Promoter from any and all costs, damages, expenses, and losses which any entrant may suffer or incur as a result of the Promoter's action or inaction arising out of or in connection with the promotion.

24. Without limiting clause 23 in no circumstances is the Promoter liable to any entrant for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of opportunity or profit.
25. Without limiting clauses 23 and 24, the Promoter is not liable to the entrant for anything outside the reasonable control of the Promoter or the acts or omissions of 3rd parties.

26. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia irrespective of the place of residence of any entrant.

27. A reference to the Promoter includes its officers, employees, agents and contractors.
