Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 2. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of the Terms and Conditions of Entry. 3. For the purpose of the Terms and Conditions, the promoter is Country Road Limited of 658 Church Street, Richmond, Victoria, 3121, Australia. ABN: 78 006 759 182 (the Promoter). 4. Entry is open to Australian residents who are 18 years and older (Eligible Persons). Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, and its agencies are ineligible to enter the promotion. 5. The promotion commences on Thursday 8 November 2012. Entries close on Wednesday 14 November 2012 at 11:59pm (the Promotion Period). 6. Eligible Persons may enter the promotion through the Competition application on the Facebook Platform. Eligible Persons can also find the application on the Competition tab on the Country Road Page on Facebook at www.facebook.com/CountryRoad. Eligible persons entering this way must ‘Like’ the Country Road Page on Facebook. 7. Entrants must complete the Competition form at http://www.facebook.com/CountryRoad during the Promotion Period. All entries received after 11:59pm Wednesday 14 November 2012 will not be eligible for entry. 8. Entrants must provide their full name, email address and complete the following sentence in 25 words or less: “My favourite beach in Australia is… because…”. 9. Any entry over 25 words and/or not responding to the sentence: “My favourite beach in Australia is… because…” will be deemed invalid. 10. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. 11. Multiple entries per person are permitted. 12. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the promotional database and not at the time of transmission by the entrant. 13. Judging will be conducted at 658 Church Street, Richmond, Victoria, 3121, Australia on Thursday 15 November 2012 whereby a final shortlist of six entries will be decided upon. These entries will be selected based on the relevance and creativity in completing the sentence “My favourite beach in Australia is… because…” in 25 words or less. Judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 14. The final shortlist of six entries, as judged by the Promoter, will then be posted on the Competition tab for voting by Facebook fans from Thursday 15 November to Sunday 18 November 2012. 15. There will be six winners in total. The entry with the most votes will receive a $1000 gift card. The remaining five shortlisted entries will each receive a beach towel prize pack: 2 x adult beach towels (RRP $119.90) and 2 x child beach towels (RRP $79.90). Total prize value of each pack RRP $199.80. 16. Total prize pool value is RRP $1,999.00 AUD. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and the beach towel prize packs cannot be taken as cash or gift cards. The entry with the most votes will be notified via email on Monday 19 November 2012. The winning submission will be posted via a status update on Country Road’s Facebook page on Tuesday 20 November 2012. The Promoter will take no responsibility if a prize winner's contact details are incorrect or incomplete and the prize winner cannot be contacted. Winners must confirm acceptance of their prize by 5:00pm Monday 19 November 2012. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any unclaimed prize with another suitable entry on Tuesday 20 November 2012. The prizes will be sent to the winners within approximately 4 weeks of the winner’s announcement. The Promoter will cover all delivery costs and will take no responsibility for damage in transit or delivery. Delivery will only be made within Australia. In the event that the prizes are not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes at its discretion to the same and equal recommended retail value. All times and dates refer to the Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time (AEDST) zone. 17. The winners agree to participate in such reasonable publicity as may be requested by the Promoter. The winners agree to the publication of their name and winning entry as referred to in paragraph 17 above. Entrants who do not wish their personal information to be used in one or both of these ways should direct their request to the Promoter using the contact details set out below. 18. The Promoter is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected entries and all such entries shall be disqualified. 19. Events that are beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, include but are not limited to, computer viruses or bugs, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, computer traffic congestion affecting the administration, security or integrity of the promotion. 20. Entrants acknowledge that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants will provide their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the promotion must be directed to the Promoter, not Facebook. 21. The Promoter will collect entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. 22. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of age, identity and residency at the nominated prize delivery address.
