Instructions on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.

Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
Promotion commences 00:01 AEST 16 November, 2012 and closes midnight AEST on 6 December, 2012. The judging will take place at Promoter’s premises, 54 Park Street, Sydney NSW 2000 on 7 December, 2012. The judging will be done by a panel of judges appointed by the promoter. The winner will be notified in writing and by telephone using contact details provided in their entry.

Individuals can enter via the following ways: 
Mail: To enter via coupon, individuals must fill out the Entertainment Awards 2012 survey and input the requested details on the coupon including their full name, address, telephone number, date of birth, current email address and answer to the competition question in 25 words or less ‘Which celebrity you’d like to bump into in California and why?’ and post it to Entertainment Awards comp: Trip to California Po Box 453 Eastern Suburbs MC NSW 2004.
Online: To enter via online, individuals must go to www.okmagazine.com.au and follow the prompts on the promotion entry page and complete the Entertainment Awards 2012 survey and input the requested details including their full name, address, telephone number, date of birth, current email address and answer to the competition question in 25 words or less ‘Which celebrity you’d like to bump into in California and why?’ and then submit the fully completed form as instructed.
viewa: To enter via viewa, individuals must download the viewa app, select the OK! channel and hold their phone or tablet over the promotional page and then follow the prompts on the promotion entry page and complete the Entertainment Awards 2012 survey and input the requested details including their full name, address, telephone number, date of birth, current email address and answer to the competition question in 25 words or less ‘Which celebrity you’d like to bump into in California and why?’ and then submit the fully completed form as instructed.

Limit one (1) entry permitted per person.

For the removal of doubt, an invalid entry consisting of a completed survey, may still be included for research purposes only.

This is a game of skill, chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on its literary and creative merit of the answer to the question provided. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition will be final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.

The Entrant warrants to the Promoter that the entry submitted is an original artistic work of the Entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third parties. If the entry or any part of the information provided to the Entrant in relation to the entry was provided by a third party, the Entrant warrants that they have obtained the relevant copyright permission to submit the entry for the purposes of this promotion. The entrant agrees to indemnify the promoter against all claims and costs by third parties arising from a breach of the warranty set out in this condition.
The Promoter is entitled to use any of the entries submitted in any manner and for any purpose at its absolute discretion, including using the entries for future promoter’s or their agents book publications, promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant. The promoter is entitled to amend, edit, select, crop, retouch, add to or delete from any part of the submitted entry.
Entries must not be offensive, defamatory or racist.  Any entry which the judges deem inappropriate will be invalid.  The entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter.
Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.

The best (1) valid entry, as determined by the judges, will be deemed the major prize winner and will receive:

Two (2) x Return economy flights to Los Angeles from the winner’s nearest capital city valued at up to  $4,796 (depending on point of departure) (including taxes)
Five (5) x nights’ accommodation in a standard twin share room at Luxe Rodeo Drive valued at up to $2,500
Two (2) x Hollywood VIP pass to Universal Studios valued at $500.00
Two (2) x  Napoleon Perdis makeover at the Hollywood Store in Los Angeles valued at $500.00
Total prize is valued at up to $8,296 (Australian dollars) (depending on point of departure, including taxes)

Prize must be taken in full and as a package by 7 December 2013. Prize is subject to availability at the time of booking and black-out periods may apply. Travel must be carried out in this period and tickets will not be exchanged for another destination. Winner must book the flight component of the prize by 31 December 2012. Flights and accommodation are subject to availability. The prize cannot be changed once the bookings have been confirmed.
The winner (and their companion) are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs.

Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

A valid passport is required for all international journeys. It the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions to ensure they have all required travel documentation (including but not limited to passports & visas) as required for travel to the destination point. All costs associated with obtaining this travel documentation is the responsibility of the winner.

The winner and (their companion) are responsible to obtain all required documentation and visas to enter United States of America and Canada. If the winner should also be a U.S. citizens will require additional documentation to enter Canada. A Canadian visa may be required for Non-U.S. citizens; check your home country requirements for entering Canada. From 4 September 2010, the United States government will charge a US$14 as payment for the mandatory ESTA for all individuals proposing to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program. The fee is payable by credit card and, it is very important to make payments through the official website. ESTA’s official website is https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/. This cost is the responsibility of the winner and their friend.

The two (2) flights must be utilized at the same time, for the same travel dates, to the same destination.

Transport to and from Departure point including but not limited to additional Domestic airfares if required, any additional meals, any extra sightseeing or activities, any additional accommodation, personal spending money, and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions. Prize also excludes medical expenses, items of a personal nature, beverages, optional tours not outlined, laundry, telephone calls, additional nights, room upgrades or other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize other than those specified. These costs and expenses are the responsibility of the winner. Any extension to the duration of the prize is at the winner’s sole expense and subject to availability at the time of booking.  For the removal of doubt, taxes for international travel are included in the prize winning international airfares provided by the Promoter.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be requested to present their credit card upon arrival at any hotel to cover all incidentals they may incur including their stay at that hotel.

Prize must be taken as offered. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not exchangeable or cannot be redeemed as cash. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer. The prize is valued in Australian dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Prize winner is advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of their prize.  In the event that a portion of the prize is awarded to the winner in the form of a voucher / ticket / pass/ letter, redemption of that portion of the prize will be subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the voucher / ticket / pass/ letter. The Promoter will not be liable for any voucher / ticket / pass/ letter that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way. Redemption of prize at a venue is subject to the standard rules and regulations of that venue/s.

Each winner (and any companion) must travel on the same dates, depart from and return to the same point of departure and travel together. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Standard conditions for tickets and accommodation apply.  The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. It is each winner’s responsibility to ensure that they have all relevant documentation in order to travel. All elements of a prize must be taken together within the one trip. Winners will not be compensated for unused portions of a prize.
The Napoleon Perdis makeover must be taken to coincide with the Prize trip to Los Angeles and is valid for the Hollywood Los Angeles store only. Prize is subject to availability at the time of booking.

The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any loss or damage suffered in the event that the Universal Studios or Napoleon Perdis Hollywood store is closed, cancelled, rescheduled for any reason whatsoever.
Prize does not include (including but not limited to) travel to and from the winner’s place of residence to the departure point, travel to and from the airport to hotel in Los Angeles or travel to and from Universal Studios or Napoleon Perdis. All associated travel/transfer costs are the responsibility of the winner.
This prize is not valid with any other offer, and must be taken intact. The prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices and the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The prize value is valid as at 12 November, 2012 and the Promoter accepts no responsibility for any subsequent variation in prize value.
Changes to flight schedules may require additional overnight accommodation at either commencement, during the itinerary, or on completion of the trip which is at the winner’s expense.
All extension of the winner’s stay in LA is at the expense of the winner.
In the event that the Promoter requests the entrant to sign any legal documents relating to the verification of their medical circumstance, the legal documents will take the form determined by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting a prize a winner (and their companion) signs any such legal documentation.
In the event that the prize, or part of the prize, is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize or part of the prize in its discretion with an alternative prize or part of the prize to the same and equal recommended retail value and/or specification subject to any written directions from the various Lottery Departments.
The promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any late lost or misdirected mail (including but not limited to prizes).

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including  but not limited to natural disaster)the  Promoter reserves the right to subject to reference to all relevant  state and territory rules and regulations, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
If a medical circumstance in some way restricts your ability to enter the competition through the required mechanic, you are still eligible to enter however you must briefly state your circumstances upon entry.
If your entry is selected as a winning entry, validation of your circumstances/ the validity of your entry will be undertaken by the Promoter. Method of validation (without limitation) will be determined by the Promoter in its complete discretion. If the winning entry is deemed to be a winner, the winner will be notified as per the terms and conditions herein. In the event that the Promoter requests the entrant to sign any legal documents relating to the verification of their medical circumstance, the legal documents will take the form determined by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting the prize the winner sign any such legal documentation.
Maximum cost of postal entry is a standard Australia post stamped envelope. Any cost associated with mailing costs including but not limited to express post, registered post or courier services. These costs are the entrant’s responsibility.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
