The promotion is open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over.
Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
More than one entry per person is permitted.
The promotional period commences November 2, 2012 (ADST) and closes 11.59pm (ADST) on December 12, 2012.
This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners.
Participants may enter the promotion as follows: in 25 words or less, answer the question: What is your favourite beauty product and why? To enter, visit indio-skincare.com and include your full name, address, contact phone number and email address.
Entries will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit and originality.
The promotion will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter and will be determined on December 14, 2012. The winners will be notified by email using the contact details provided in their entry on the 17th December 2012.
There will be a total of 2 major prize winners (1 for Australia and 1 for New Zealand); and 30 runners up winners (15 for Australia and 15 for New Zealand) determined by the judges. Major prize will win a year's supply of indio skin care products (as selected by the Promoter in its absolute discretion) valued at $3,000 AUD for Australia and $3500 NZD for New Zealand. Australian runner up winners will receive 1 x indio age defence SPF30+ sunscreen cream 100ml each valued at $76 AUD and New Zealand runner up winners will receive 1 x indio age defence SPF30+ sunscreen cream 100ml each valued at $99.98 NZD. Prizes will be delivered to each winner's nominated Australian and New Zealand address. The major prize will be delivered in two separate batches. The exact indio skin care products awarded and the exact times of delivery will be selected by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Delivery charge to be paid for by the Promoter.
All the winners must be minimum 18 years of age.
In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the promoter, the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited by that winner.
Entries not completed in accordance with the rules and conditions, or received after the closing date, will not be considered. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. The judges decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
Prize valued in both Australian dollars and New Zealand dollars. There are 2 prize pools, one for each country. Prize values are the recommended retail value of each country and are correct at time promotion started, November 2, 2012.
Total Prize value in AUD for the Australian pool is = $4,140.00 inc GST. Total Prize value in NZD for the New Zealand pool is = $4,999.70 inc GST.
Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter excludes all liability including negligence for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third-party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these conditions of entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; (f) redemption of a prize and/or (g) participation in the promotion.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries.
The Promoter can without notice withdraw the competition and with out reason.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. The name and a possible photograph of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by the promoter, unless the winner otherwise notifies the Promoter at the time of accepting the prize.
All entries submitted become the property of the Promoter. Entries will not be returned to any entrant. By entering this promotion, each entrant warrants to the Promoter that each entry submitted is an original work of the entrant, which does not infringe the rights of any third party. The entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter against all claims and costs by third parties arising from a breach of the warranty set out in this condition.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may use for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
By entering the competition, the entrant consents to receipt of any email regarding the competition, and other emails which inform the entrant of the Promoter's other products, services and events and to promote third-party goods and services it may be interested in.
As a condition of accepting a prize, each winner may be required to sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
