Oh Girls. Please keep doing what you are doing, because you are giving us a vodka-tainted faith in the future of television.

Season Two has just hit the airwaves in America (not to mention its creator, producer, writer, lead actress and all-round rad lady Lena Dunham nabbed herself a Golden Globe for it last week), and it seems like we're playing perpetual catch up here in Australia. So if you're not yet aware of the awesomeness that is HBO's latest series, here's the rundown: it's a TV show about you. Not about the idealised, perfect-skinned, serendipitous version of you, but the version of you who eats yoghurt from the tub with the fridge door still open. Instead of reflecting Gen Y, Girls makes you reflect on yourself. And it is our new best (television-based) friend.

It also has a particularly nice soundtrack that goes along with it, featuring the likes of Santigold and Belle & Sebastian. For the teeniest tiniest snippet from episode 3, just check out the clip to the left. It features the lead track on the soundtrack: Robyn's "Dancing On My Own". Sometimes when life gets you down, you need to boogie down.

We have five packs to give away with both the soundtrack and the complete first season's DVDs. To enter, just email us with your name and address, and let us know which of the Girls you most liken yourself to and why. Extra points if you're a Hannah like us.
