 1. Information on how to enter forms part of the Get Wines Direct Terms and Conditions of entry. By acknowledging the terms and conditions check box, all entrants thereby accept these terms and conditions. By entering the competition, participants are automatically subscribed to receive the Get Wines Direct e-newsletter and Get Wines Direct e-Daily Deals newsletters.

2. The competition commences on 1/2/2013 at 10.am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) and concludes on 31/3/2013 at 5pm AEST. All entrants must be Australian residents only aged eighteen (18) years or over who hold a current valid Australian driver’s licence.

3. To enter the competition participants must answer, in twenty (20) words or less, the following question: “What is your most desirable holiday destination in Australia, and why?”

4. Participants will be formally entered  into the competition by logging onto the website at www.getwinesdirect.com/winaholidaypromotion, and completing the entry form with the required information. It is compulsory for entrants to provide their full name and email address to enter the promotion.

5. Participants may refer eligible friends via email, however such referrals do not entitle the participant to additional entries into the competition. Only one entry and written submission per person is allowed. Get Wines Direct (The Promoter) reserves the right in its absolute discretion, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify:
(i)  Any entries that tamper with or attempt to tamper with the entry process;
(ii) Any entries that Get Wines Direct considers manipulative, unrepresentative, inappropriate or disproportionate;   
(iii) Any individuals found entering who corrupt or affect, or attempt to corrupt or affect, the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the entry process.

6. Employees, agents and Directors of GET WINES DIRECT, or any interested parties or agencies associated with the competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter the competition.

7. All participants will be entered into a competition prize pool to win one major prize. The prize, with all inclusions, is as follows:
 * Return flights for two people, including all necessary transfers, from their nearest Australian capital city to Hamilton Island.
 *  Five nights’ accommodation for two adults at the Hamilton Island Beach Club Resort. The following block out dates apply: From  22/12/2013  to 5/1/2014 (inclusive) (Subject to availability and one months’ notice)
* Unlimited golf for two adults on the Island’s championship golf course for the duration of the stay (includes return launch transfers from Hamilton  Island, and use of a two-seater electric buggy on-course only)
*  $2,000.00 worth of Island Credits, for unlimited spending in and throughout the Resort (includes food and beverage spending towards lunch and dinner each day).
*  Barrier Reef Day trip for two adults
*  Daily A La Carte breakfast in the Beach Club Restaurant
*  VIP return transfers to/from Hamilton Island airport/marina/Beach Club
*  Use of catamarans/paddle skis/windsurfers and snorkelling equipment
*  Unlimited use  the scheduled “Island Shuttle” service
*  Use of the gym/spa/sauna/tennis and squash court hire

*  All prize elements must be used by 31/03/2014

8. The winning entrant will be decided by a judging panel established at the Promoter’s discretion. The announcement of the winning entrant will be conducted at the Promoter’s office located at 48 School Road, Maroochydore, Queensland, on 4/4/2013, and will take place at 10am AEST.
The name of the prize winner will be published on the Promoter’s website and Facebook feed. The prize winner will also formally be notified by email. The winner will also be notified on 4/4/2013 following the announcement on the Promoter’s:
(a)  Website: www.getwinesdirect.com\legals
(b) Facebook feed
(c) National press
(d)  Email notification

9. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash. If the prize is not claimed within twelve (12) weeks of the announcement, the prize will be forfeited.

10. All and any expenses incurred outside of the stated prize are at the cost and responsibility of the winner.

11. Travel insurance is not provided and GET WINES DIRECT recommends the prize winner and their travel companion obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including medical coverage (at their own expense) prior to travel.

12. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
(a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control)
(b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference
(c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter)due to any reason beyond the control of the Promoter
(d) any variation in prize value to these Terms and Conditions
(e)  any tax liability incurred by the winner or any entrant, or
(f)  use of the prize

13. Each entrant:
(a) Agrees for their entry to be entered into a database for future advertising and marketing from Get Wines Direct and its sponsorship partners
(b) Agrees for the Promoter to use their names and addresses for future marketing and promotional purposes unless notified otherwise in writing by the entrant
(c) Agrees that subject to clause 13(d), the promoter will classify all entries as confidential and will not disclose any entrants’ details to any other parties, and by entering the competition the entrants agree to accept email communications from the Promoter until the entrant opts out to receive the email communications from the Promoter
(d) Agrees for the promoter to collect personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information.

14. By accepting the prize, the winner and their travel companion agree that GET WINES DIRECT may use their name/s, likeness, appearance, voice and biographical information for any future promotional and publicity purposes.

15. It is further agreed and understood;
(a) The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited  and will invalidate any entry/ies submitted by that entrant
(b) All entries become the property of the Promoter
(c)  The Promoter reserves the right to alter or amend these Terms and Conditions, and conditions of operation of the Promotion, subject to the  approval of the gaming authorities, and relevant legislation, in each State or Territory, where required.
                   
16.  GET WINES DIRECT hereby advises that any of its decisions regarding any aspect of this competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
