Terms & Conditions

1.     Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions. Entry into the competition constitutes the entrants’ acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2.    Entry is only open to Australian and New Zealand residents 18 years and over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, and agencies associated, are ineligible to enter.

3.     Independent Consultants, Group Leaders, Branch Managers and Area Managers constitute employees for the sake of this promotion. They, and only they, are ineligible to enter. Nuclear or extended family members are authorised to participate.

4.     The promotion commences at 14:00 WST on 25 February 2013 and closes at 23:59 WST on 8 April 2013.

5.     To enter, participants must:

a)                 become and remain a fan of Thermomix in Australia on Facebook for the length of the competition in order to win the Prize;

b)                 to become a fan of Thermomix in Australia, click on 'like' on the Facebook page.

c)                 answer the question to go in the running to win the prize.

6.     Entries are limited to one per person on Facebook and any double entries will be removed from the prize draw.

7.     There will be one prize winner chosen by a judging panel based on creativity.

8.     The judging will take place on 9 April 2013.

10.  Winners will be contacted by 10 April 2013 via email and the details will be published on the Facebook Page by 10 April 2013. Due to Facebook Terms and Conditions we are only able to announce the winners first name and initial on the Facebook wall.

11.  The winner will receive a Thermomix TM31 and Everyday Cookbook.

12.  The maximum total retail value of the prize pool is AU $1939. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation of the prizes.

13.  The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Prize is not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash.

14.  The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use entrants' names, addresses, telephone numbers and the winners' names and addresses and photographs in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes, in any media worldwide without notice, any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages and will be signed up to CDM if not already a member. Entrants who have checked the box to receive additional information to become a Consultant and earn a Thermomix for free will receive this information via email.  A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out below.

15.  The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any participant (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any bonus items, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any registrations that are not received, or are otherwise interfered with, due to problems with the internet or telecommunications services.

16.  If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.

17.  In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to state legislation.
