If we could fornicate with a voice, we reckon this one would do us just fine. These soul-possessed vocal chords first drifted past our ears when someone sent us the below video of him playing a live set in his mum's living room. Yes, he may look like a cross between Napoleon Dynamite and a bi-focal-wearing Texan ranger, but close your eyes and Allen's voice sounds like it is straight out a jazz club in the 1940s. He's coming out to Australia for the first time this month for Bluesfest and we have a double pass for his Melbourne sideshow on March 28th and his Sydney gig on March 30th to give away.
