Terms & Conditions
1. These are the terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") that govern the relationship
between you, the entrant ("you", "your(s)") and Hotelclub Pty Ltd (ABN 85 092 445 442) Sydney.
NSW 2009 (the "Promoter").Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these Terms
and Conditions; however, to the extent that there is any inconsistency between these terms and
conditions and any other published material, these Terms and Conditions will prevail. By
participating in the “HotelClub Ultimate Music Experience” (the “Promotion”), each participant fully
and unconditionally agrees and acknowledges that these Terms and Conditions are binding. The
Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Any changes to these Terms and Conditions will be available on

2. Entry is open to all residents of Australia, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan,
Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Taiwan, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States
who are 18 years of age and over (“Eligible Entrants”). Employees of the Promoter and their
immediate families and its agencies and companies associated with this Promotion, are not eligible
to enter. The Promoter assumes that by entering the Competition you have legal capacity to enter
the Competition and agree to the Terms and Conditions (i.e. that you are of sufficient age and
mental capacity and are entitled to be legally bound in contract)If the Promoter, in its reasonable
opinion, believes that a person is deliberately manipulating entries into this Competition, the
Promoter may exclude such person from this Promotion.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner provides proof of age, identity and
residency prior to awarding the prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the
discretion of the Promoter.
4. The Promotion commences on Monday 11 February 2013 at 12.01am (ADST) and concludes on
Saturday 11 May 2013 at 11.59pm (AEST) (the “Promotion Period”).
5. To enter this Promotion, Eligible Entrants must complete the Entry Form on
www.promotions.hotelclub.com/s3/musicholidayduring the Promotion Period.[Entries are limited to
one entry per person [but o}ne additional entry will be granted to entrants for each new friend they
refer and who enters].
6. The draw from all Eligible Entrants will take place at 3.00pm (AEST) on Tuesday 14 May 2013 at 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay NSW, 2089. The first valid entry drawn will be the winner of the
Promotion (the “Winner”).
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel this Competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its
reasonable opinion, or if circumstances arise out of its control and the winners shall be selected in
accordance with these Terms and Conditions from all eligible entries received prior to such termination
date.
7. The Winner will be notified by email within 2 working days of the judging and their name will be
published on the HotelClub website: www.hotelclub.com and in the Australian Newspaper on
Tuesday 21 May 2013.
8. The first eligible entry drawn will be the Winner of the “HotelClub Ultimate Music Experience”
(the “Prize”) comprising of the following elements:
• Up until 31 December 2013, the Winner may select one music concert that they and their
companion would like to attend, anywhere in the World. They will be provided with two ‘best
available’ tickets for that concert. (Conditions of entry to the selected concert will apply).
• Return Economy airfares, including all taxes, for the Winner and their travel companion from the
Winner’s nearest capital city to the city where the concert will be held and back to the Winner’s
nearest capital city.
• Airport/Hotel Transfers in the destination city.
• 4 night’s twin share accommodation in the city where the concert will be held, in a 4 Star hotel,
selected by the Promoter’s agent who will handle all aspects of the administering of the Prize.
• Breakfasts for two for 4 mornings.
The maximum retail value of this Prize is $10,000, which is correct at the time of publication. The
Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in the Prize value.
All other expenses, including ground transportation to and from the departing and arrivals airports,
additional ground transportation, hotel accommodation, gratuities, applicable taxes, hotel services
(if any), room service, travel and medical insurance, additional spending money, personal
expenses, souvenirs, upgrades, incidentals and expenses not expressly specified herein are the
sole responsibility of the winner.
If any tax is levied by the Australian Tax Office in respect of the award of any Prize pursuant to this
Promotion, such tax levied will be the responsibility of, and paid by, the winner to the Australian
Tax Office.
9. The travel portion of the Prize must be booked and completed by 31 December 2013 and is
subject to booking availabilities of all Prize elements.
The Winner and their nominated travelling companion must travel at the same time, must depart from the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest
capital city for flight departure. Air tickets are for economy travel on the regular scheduled services
of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. The flight itinerary may have to be adjusted
depending on the airline's departure city and their current flight schedule.
Frequent Flyer points are not available from any airline in respect of flights awarded under this
Promotion. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the
hotel, which may be used in relation to incidental charges (which are not included in the Prize).
Once accommodation is paid for, changes to the Winner’s selections in respect of the Prize are not
permitted. It is the travellers' personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation,
including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration
and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or
expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those
authorities will be the sole responsibility of the Winner.
The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist
at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including
government, local consular offices and the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs
and Trade.
Travel must be taken at the time specified by the Promoter and must coincide with the dates
specified in these Terms and Conditions.
If the Winner and their travelling companion are, for whatever reason, unable to travel on a
nominated date, or do not take a portion of the “HotelClub Ultimate Music Experience” Prize within
the timeframe stipulated by the Promoter, then that portion of the Prize will be forfeited by the
Winner. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the Prize or any portion thereof.
Changes and cancellations to any booking may be subject to fees payable by the Winner. Travel
insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of
unforeseen circumstances. If any part of the “HotelClub Ultimate Music Experience” Prize is
unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of
the Prize) with a Prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any law or written
directions from a regulatory authority.
In the event that for any reason whatsoever a Winner does not claim, use or accept this Prize at or
within the time stipulated by the Promoter, the Prize will be forfeited by the Winner and the
Promoter reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
The Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner in the event that the Promoter has
reasonable grounds for believing that a winner has contravened any of these Terms and
Conditions.
10. If the Prize is unclaimed by 10am (AEST) Tuesday 27 August 2013, an unclaimed Prize draw
will take place at 2pm (AEST) on Wednesday 28 August 2013 at 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay
NSW 2089, in order to distribute any Prize unclaimed by that date, subject to State regulations.
The winner of the unclaimed Prize draw will be notified via email and telephone of their Prize and
their name will be published on www.hotelclub.com and in The Australian newspaper on
Wednesday 4 September 2013.11. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its employees and associated
agencies disclaim liability for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect
or consequential loss) or for any personal injury that is suffered or sustained in connection with any
participant’s participation in this Promotion or the acceptance of either Prize.
12. The Winner indemnifies the Promoter, its employees and associated agencies against any
liability, injury, loss or damage which may be suffered, incurred or sustained by the Promoter, its
employees or associated agencies arising out of, relating to, or in any way connected with, any act
or omission (including negligence) by the Winner.
13. No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter or its agents for late, lost or misdirected email.
14. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone
network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software,
technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination
thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or
resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this competition.
15. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned including infection by
computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other
causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security,
fairness integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole
discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, subject to state
regulatory approval.
16. The Promoter collects personal information from all participants in order to conduct the
Promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the participant may not participate in the
Promotion or claim the Prize. Their entry will be discarded. It is a condition of entry into the
Promotion that the Winner consents to the publication of their name and city of origin in any
advertisements or articles relating to the Promotion or the Prize and participates in any media
releases, which may include photographs of the Winner by the Promoter.
17. All entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering this promotion, participants
consent to the use of their names and likenesses in this manner. The Promoter’s treatment and
storage of personal information will be handled in accordance with all applicable laws in Australia
and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy which can be found at
