Metalicus ‘Ultimate Travel Kit’ Competition: Terms and Conditions

 

1) Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions.
    Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.

2) Entry is only open to Australian Residents aged 18 years and over.  Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
     Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, defacto spouse, child or step child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step parent,
     grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step brother, step sister or 1st cousin.

3) The Promoter is METALICUS PTY LTD (ABN: 23 127 957 653), 17 - 21 Hardner Street, Mount Waverley, VIC, Australia. The Promoter’s telephone number
     is (+613) 9902 5300.

4) Offer is not valid in conjunction with any other special offers, discounts or promotions unless indicated otherwise.

5) The promotion commences 9:00AM on Monday 11th March, 2013 and ends at 5:00PM on Sunday 24th March, 2013 (“Promotional Period”).
     All entries must be received by 5:00PM on Sunday 24th March, 2013. Late entries will be deemed invalid and ineligible to enter the promotion.
     No extensions will be given under any circumstances.

6) To enter, entrants must spend $150 or more in any Metalicus concept or concession store or any Metalicus Myer concession, answer the question in 25 words or less:
     “Why do you love Metalicus for travelling?”, and fill in and submit the accompanying entry form.

7) Only one (1) entry is allowed per purchase, regardless of the value of the purchase. 
     A person may enter more than once but will need to make more than one purchase above $150.

8) The competition has one major prize comprising of:
     i) A $1000 Metalicus gift voucher
     ii) A personal styling session in the Metalicus store of their choice
     iii) A Samsonite Australia Luggage pack to the value of AU$1,348

9) The total maximum prize retail value is AU$2,348.

10) All valid entries will be reviewed and judged based on the skill and creativity of the answer at 17-21 Hardner Street, Mount Waverley, VIC 3149 by
       Tuesday April 2nd, 2013. The best judged answer will be selected as the winner and will be notified by phone and in writing within 2 working days
       of the winner being decided. The winners’ prize will be sent to their nominated address. The personal styling session must be redeemed by May
       10th 2013 or this portion of the prize will be forfeited by the winner.

11) The Prize is not transferable and is not redeemable for cash. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts
       no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if incomplete, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.

12) If the winner is uncontactable, does not provide an address or does not claim their prize by Tuesday, May 7th 2013, the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize
       distribution on Tuesday May 7th, 2013.  By submitting an entry, entrants consent to participating in any unclaimed prize distribution. All non winning entries will be
       included in the unclaimed prize distribution with the best answer being judged the winner. The winner will be notified by phone and writing within two (2) days of
       the decision.

13) By entering, all entrants are providing consent to receive the Promoter’s electronic updates and periodically receive promotional materials by email and/or post from
       the Promoter. Entrants can unsubscribe from receiving correspondence from the Promoter via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of all electronic updates or by contacting
       the Promoter.

14) In the event that for any reason whatsoever the winner does not take an element of the Prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the Prize will
       be forfeited by the winner.

15) Personal details from entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of
       processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their
       information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organizations that may use it, in any media for future promotional
       purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the

16) Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence)
       for any injury, loss, tax, penalty, cost, expense or damage  whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion including
       the use or non-use of the prize or part of the prize or the acts/omissions of any 3rd party/s. In any case, the Promoter’s liability in all respects is limited to the
       minimum allowable by law.
