The Great Gatsby Movie Ticket Competition
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. “Watch & Win” is a weekly competition that will begin on Tuesday the 9th of April 2013 at 4pm (AEST) and ends Wednesday of the same week at 4pm (AEST) (the “Promotion Period”). The entire competition will begin on the 9th of October 2012 and continue indefinitely or until Roadshow Films sees fit.
2. By entering the competition, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Terms and Conditions.
3. Entry is open to residents of Australia who are thirteen years of age or older at the time of entry.
4. Employees and their immediate families of Roadshow Films Pty Ltd, its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates are not eligible to enter.
5. Employees and their immediate families of We Are Social Pty Ltd, its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates are not eligible to enter.
6. To enter, participants must visit the web site https://www.facebook.com/roadshowfilms (the “Website”), complete the submission form found on the Website with the information requested, watch the video and answer a 25 words or less question.
7. At the end of the Promotion Period for each weekly competition, a judging panel will review all entries submitted. The judging panel resides at 107 Regent Street, Chippendale NSW 2008, Australia. Up to four hundred (400) entries will be judged the best, deemed the winners and awarded movie tickets. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners will be chosen on Wednesday and announced the same day.
8. All required information on the entry form must be completed to enter and to be eligible to win.
9. Entries must be received by the end of the Promotion Period for the applicable weekly competition in order to be eligible for consideration. The Website’s database clock will be the official time keeper for this Promotion. Proof of entering information at the Website is not considered proof of delivery to or receipt by Promoter of such entry.
10. Entry must be completed and submitted by the entrant, only at the website (http://www.facebook.com/roadshowfilms). Entries made by any other individual or any entity, and/or originating at any other web site or e-mail address, including but not limited to commercial promotion subscription notification and/or entering service sites, will be declared invalid and disqualified for this competition.
11. The cost of accessing the website will be dependent on the entrant’s individual Internet Service Provider.
12. Each prize winner will be notified by e-mail using the contact information provided at the time of entry.
13. Each prize winner will be sent their prize by post using the contact information provided at the time of entry. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoters.
14. The Promoter reserves the right not to run the promotion during weeks where there is no film released, or in its’ discretion.
15. If a potential prize winner declines the applicable prize for any reason prior to award, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. The Promoter may successively attempt to contact up to two potential prize winners of in accordance with such procedure, and if there is still no confirmed prize winner after such attempts have been made, if any, the prize may go unawarded.
16. Prizes are available for this weekly competition. The winners will receive 1 pair of single adult tickets to view The Great Gatsby being released by the Promoter on Thursday the 30th of May 2013. The tickets are also subject to the following Terms and Conditions: Present this ticket at the box office and you will be entitled to one session only of “FILM”. Valid even with “No Free Tickets” restriction. Not valid all day Tuesday (or cinema discount days), Saturdays after 5pm or Public Holidays. Not valid at Village Cinemas Gold Class and VMAX, Reading Gold Lounge and Titan XC, EVENT Cinemas Gold Class and Vmax, Greater Union & Birch Carroll & Coyle Gold Class and Vmax, Hoyts Xtremescreen, Director’s Suite, La Premiere, Hoyts IMAX and Bean Bag Cinema, AMC Cinelounge, Dendy Premium. Not for resale. This ticket must be taken as offered and is not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash.
17. The approximate retail value of each prize is $30 GST exclusive.
18. No cash alternative or substitution of prizes will be allowed.
19. Tampering with the entry process or the operation of the competition, including but not limited to the use of any device to automate the entry process, is prohibited and any entries deemed by the Promoter, in its sole discretion, to have been submitted in this manner will be void. In the event a dispute regarding the identity of the individual who actually submitted an entry cannot be resolved to Promoter’s satisfaction, the affected entry(ies) will be deemed ineligible.
20. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoters, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any written direction given under State Regulation.
21. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
22. The Promoter collects your personal information to include you in this competition and will disclose the information to others for the purpose of running the competition and providing the prize. The Promoter may use the winner’s names and images to publicise the outcome of the competition without notice and without any fee being paid. Please contact the Promoter (at privacy@roadshow.com.au) if you would like details of the personal information held about you, or would like such information to be updated or corrected, or would like a copy of the privacy policy of the Promoter.
23. This competition is in no way promoted, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants are providing information to the Promoter and not to Facebook.
