Terms and Conditions of Entry

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry.

2. The Promoter: The Promoter is Australian Leisure & Hospitality Group Ltd ACN 37 067 391 511 of 16-20 Claremont Street, South Yarra, Victoria 3141, owner / operator of The Ranch Hotel

3. Cnr Epping & Herring Rds, North Ryde, New South Wales 2122 (“Participating Venue”).

4. Duration of Promotion: The Promotion commences at 9am on 29th April 2013 and ends at 7.00pm on 14th June 2013 (“the Promotional Period”).

5. Eligibility for Entry: Entry may only be made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The Promotion is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who attend a Participating Venue during the Promotional Period unless, they are an employee, or have been employed in the last six months at the Participating Venue, or employed by Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group Limited and the immediate families, including spouse, parents, siblings and children of any such employees.

6. Playing a gaming machine or participating in a loyalty scheme that requires either expenditure on gaming machines or agreement to receive gaming machine advertising, does not enable you to enter or participate in this promotion.

7. Entry Mechanism: Entry is by way of Entry Form (‘Ticket’) which may be obtained by making any food or beverage purchase at the Participating Venue during the Promotional Period.

8. It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain a Ticket if or when they become entitled to do so.

9. When entering the Prize Draw, entrants must fully and legibly complete their full name, mobile phone number and email address on their Ticket and place it in the specially marked Entry Barrel at the Participating Venue during the Promotional Period.

10. Prize Draw: Prize Draw will take place at the Participating Venue at 7pm on 14th June 2013. The winner’s name will be announced using the hotel’s public address system. The Prize Winner must claim the Prize within five (5) minutes of the Prize Draw. In the event that the Prize Winner does not claim the Prize within the allotted time, a redraw will be conducted at fifteen (15) minute intervals until such time as the Prize is claimed, or in the event that the Prize has not been claimed by 9pm, a final Prize Draw will be held at 9.05pm and the first valid entry drawn at that time shall be deemed the Final Prize Winner. If the Final Prize Winner is not in attendance, he or she will be contacted by phone and/or mail. The Prize Winner will be published in the Public Notices section of The Daily Telegraph on 21 June 2013.

11. Prize: The first (1st) randomly drawn valid entry (‘Prize Winner’) will win a $1,000 Flight Centre Travel Voucher (‘Prize’). Usage of the Travel Voucher is subject to the terms and conditions outlined by Flight Centre at the time of issue and subject to flight, hotel and other availability at the time of booking.

12. Prize is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

13. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize for a similar product of equal or greater value should the prize be unavailable for any reason at the time of the draw or prize distribution.

14. Unclaimed Prize Draw: The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event that the winner is not able to satisfy these Terms and Conditions, or forfeits or fails to accept their prize within three (3) months of the draw date. Approval and directions will be sought from the Office of Liquor, Gaming & Racing (NSW) as to the date and time of this redraw. The winner of any redraw will be notified by telephone within two (2) days of the redraw and published in the Public Notices section of The Daily Telegraph within seven (7) days of the redraw.

15. Valid Entry Forms: Entry Forms are void if stolen, forged, mutilated, photocopied or tampered with in any way. Only original Entry Forms will be accepted. Any entry not complying with these Terms and Conditions, or any Entry Forms not completely or legibly filled out, including name, address and phone number, will be deemed invalid and a further entry or entries will be drawn until a valid entry is drawn. In the event of a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final. Any printing error(s) and other quality control matters will not be used as a reason for refusing payment of prizes.

16. Privacy: Personal information contained on the Entry Forms will be used for the purpose of determining and contacting a prize winner. By submitting an Entry into the Promotion, entrants consent to the collection of their personal information for the purpose of being part of this Promotion and for use by the Promoter for future promotional, direct mail marketing and advertising purposes unless and until such request is otherwise withdrawn in writing. The Promoter complies with the Australian National Privacy Principles. You can gain access to the personal information held by the Promoter by phoning or writing to the Promoter.

17. Release: The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever suffered or sustained, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, as a result of taking a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
