Competition Terms and Conditions of Entry
Voyager of the Seas Competition
Official Rules for the Campaign:

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the Terms and Conditions of Entry. Entry into this competition deems acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this competition, these Terms and Conditions prevail.
3. The Promoters are CruiseGuide Pty Ltd of 87 King Street Manly Vale Sydney NSW 2093 (ABN: 15 139 718 817) and Indigo Arch Pty Ltd of 19A Beatty Avenue, Armadale VIC 3143, (ABN: 89 774 502 968). (the ‘Promoters’).
Entry Eligibility
4. Subject to clause 5, entry is open only to Australian residents over the age of 18, as of the date of entry. Each entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions.
5. Management and employees (and the immediate families of management and employees) of the Promoters, their retailers and agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
6. The competition Entry Period commences 27 May 2013 at 00:01 AEST and closes at 30 September 2013 23:59 AEST (‘Competition Entry Period’). Entries must be received by the Promoters during the Competition Entry Period.
How To Enter
7. To enter, entrants must, within the Competition Entry Period, provide their full name, age and address on the competition entry form and sign up to the newsletter for either CruiseGuide.com.au and/or YOURLifeChoices online at either www.CruiseGuide.com.au or www.YOURLifeChoices.com.au.
8. Entrants will gain one competition entry for signing up to the CruiseGuide.com.au newsletter and one additional entry for signing up to the YOURLifeChoices newsletter. Entrants can sign up to either one or both newsletters.
9. Additional individual competition entries will be given for every friend invited to enter the competition through the “Refer a Friend” module on each website (up to a maximum of 10 friend invites). Entrants must ensure they have the prior permission of each person they refer using the Refer a Friend module.
10. Entries must include all requested contact details, including a valid email and postal address, to be eligible to win. Entrants may only enter in their own name. Inaudible, incomprehensible, illegible, and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
11. Each entrant may only enter once via the methods specified in clause 7,8 and 9.
Competition Draw
12. This competition is a game of chance; skill plays no part in determining the winner.
13. The one winner will be drawn on the premises of CruiseGuide Pty Ltd, 87 King Street Manly Vale Sydney NSW on 2 October 2013 at 14:30 AEST.
14. The winner will be notified by phone and email within 2 business days of the draw. The winner's name will also be published online at www.CruiseGuide.com.au and www.YOURLifeChoices.com.au from 10 October 2013 for 28 days.
15. The prize will be sent within 28 days of the draw.
16. The Promoters may conduct such further draws on 20 November 2013 (within 3 months of the draw as prize must be taken from 7 December 2013) at the same time and place as the original draw in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by this date, subject to State and Territory legislation. Winners of any further draws will be notified by mail within two business days of the draw and will be published online at www.CruiseGuide.com.au and www.YOURLifeChoices.com.au from 25 November 2013 for 28 days.
Prize
17. The Prize has a recommended retail value of up to A$4,710 for 2 people (the winner and their companion), inclusive of all taxes, fees and gratuities (tips).
18. The one (1) winner will receive an 11-night New Zealand cruise on Voyager of the Seas departing on December 7, 2013. Prize is for two people in an ocean view stateroom.
19. The prize is not redeemable for cash and is not transferable to another date or cruise.
20. The prize does not include airfares, transfers, travel insurance, shore excursions or drinks purchased on board, passports, visas, vaccinations, other spending money, or other onboard activities including spending money for the casino.
21. The prize includes onboard main meals and entertainment for 2 people (with the exception of those restaurants which have an additional cover charge), and all Australian and overseas port charges and taxes.
22. The prize winner will be subject to the booking terms and conditions as outlined in the Royal Caribbean Cruises Australia, New Zealand & South Pacific 2012-2014 brochure.
23. The prize or any unused portion of the prize, cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. Where a prize, or part of a prize, is unavailable, the Promoters retains the right to substitute the prize (or part) with a prize (or part) of equal or greater value.
General
24. By entering this competition, and by collecting a prize, the winner acknowledges and accepts that driving, travel and any other activities comprising the prize, are inherently dangerous and may result in death, injury, incapacity, damage to property or other losses. The Promoters are not responsible for any acts of god, such as adverse weather conditions or industrial action or civil commotion that may occur whilst the winner is travelling. It is the responsibility of the prize-winner to enquire about local issues and conditions at destinations prior to travel. The Promoters do not guarantee that the winner will enjoy the travel prize or be suited to the type of travel prize that is offered.
25. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize winner and their travel companions. All prize travel will be subject to the carrier’s General Conditions of Carriage. The Promoters and carrier make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including local government, local consular offices and the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade at www.smartraveller.gov.au. Prizes for travel for a particular event or attraction must be taken to coincide with the event or the times and dates during which the attraction is available. Travel insurance is not included in the prize but is highly recommended.
26. Any entrant found to be entering incorrect contact details, including incorrect email contact details, will have all entries invalidated and any claim to any prize will be invalidated. If such an entrant is awarded a prize and then found to have breached this clause, the entrant must immediately return any prize awarded. The Promoters have sole discretion to determine if this clause has been breached by any entrant. The Promoters reserve the right to request whatever documentation they deem necessary to confirm if the entrant has breached this clause. An entrant must provide any requested documentation to the Promoters upon request.
27. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoters reserve the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State and Territory legislation. Cash will not necessarily be awarded as a substitute. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier’s requirements. Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
28. The Promoters may (but are not obliged to) at any time reject and/or remove from access by the public or disqualify or invalidate any entry that they consider (in their sole judgment) infringes these terms and conditions, subject to State and Territory Legislation. The Promoters will have no liability to entrants in that regard. If this occurs in respect of a winning Entry, the Promoters reserve the right to conduct an immediate redraw. The Promoters’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
29. The Promoters may, in their sole discretion but subject to state and territory legislation, disqualify all Entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the competition or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
30. If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned including by reason of tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoters which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoters may in their sole discretion (but subject to State and Territory legislation) cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries.
31. To the fullest extent permitted by law (including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) and without limiting any other conditions of entry, the Promoters may, in their discretion, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. All entrants participating in the competition at the point of termination, modification or suspension of the competition will be notified by the Promoters in writing. In the event of modification or suspension of the competition, the entrant may choose to terminate their participation in the competition at no cost.
32. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
33. The Promoters reserve the right to refuse any entries that are deemed to be submitted via any form of computer programming or automatically generated entries.
34. Any costs associated with entering the competition, accessing the website and any cost associated with finalists redeeming or using the prizes (including any travel costs outside of what is specified above) are the responsibility of the entrant.
35. Except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law the Promoters:
a. are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including (but not limited to) any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this competition; and
b. accepts no responsibility for any incorrect or inaccurate information caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in connection with this competition, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of this competition, including (but not limited to) any failure of the computer system or other equipment to determine finalists in accordance with these terms and conditions; and
c. accepts no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of Entries or entrant's details; and
d. accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected Entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoters has no control over telephone communications, the Internet, networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoters is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoters’ database, not time of transmission by the entrant.
36. Except for any liability that cannot by law (including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) be excluded, the Promoters (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition.
37. Details from all entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this competition (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the competition) and for publicity purposes surrounding the competition.
