Just a handful of highlights include Benjamin Avila’s Clandestine Childhood, which sees its director mine his own memories of growing up amidst the political upheaval of 1970s Argentina; Operation E which offers a powerful insight into the Colombian guerilla war; the dysfunctional family comedy The Summer Side; and Frederico Finkielstain’s epic Don’t Fall in Love with Me, which weaves together a series of stories that explore the struggles of young Argentinians attempting to keep their relationships and ideals intact.
