Living in different times seventeen year old Alais Pelletier du Mas (Jessica Brown-Findlay) from 13th century Carcassonne, and modern day PhD graduate Dr Alice Tanner (Canessa Kirby) must work together in order to save a 4,000 year old secret from getting into the wrong hands.
