Included in your Barra fishing adventure is:

Return economy flights from any major Australian capital city to Cairns for two people.
Two return economy flights from Cairns to Staaten River Lodge.
One night’s accommodation in Cairns, including transfers to and from the airport.
All accommodation and meals at Staaten River Lodge.
All fishing tackle will be provided by Staaten River Lodge. (Although you are welcome to bring your own).

You’ll need a valid MGF order number for a purchase made between Monday 20 May 2013 and Sunday 8 September 2013 (AEST).

Type your name and contact details into the entry form.

Type your 9-digit MGF Order number.

And in 25 words of less, tell us why you’d like to experience fishing for wild Barra at Staaten River Lodge.

Entries close on Sunday 8 September 2013, and you can enter as many times as you wish.



Staaten River and ALFABS Group Terms and Conditions
a. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Any
entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
b. Entry is open to residents of Australia.
c. To enter participants are required to:
i. Make a purchase from Michael Guest Fishing online store –
www.michaelguestfishing.com.au.
ii. A valid receipt number from a purchase made between the dates of AEST
Monday, 20 May, 2013 until AEST midnight, Sunday, 8 September, 2013
must accompany the entry.
iii. In 25 words of less all entrants need to describe why they would like to go
fishing at the Staaten River Lodge.
d. The competition will open on Monday, 20 May, 2013 and close on Sunday, 8
September, 2013.
e. There is one (1) prize only in the competition.
f. Entrants may enter multiple times.
g. The winning entry will win two (2) return economy flights to Cairns, one (1) night’s
accommodation in Cairns before flying to Staaten River Lodge on 2 October, 2013 and
returning to Cairns on Monday, 7 October, 2013. Accommodation, meals and fishing
is included. Retail value up to $16,000.00. Included in the prize:
i. Return economy flights from any major Australian capital city to Cairns for
two (2) persons.
ii. Return transfers to and from Cairns accommodation to General Aviation.
iii. Two (2) return economy flights from Cairns to Staaten River Lodge.
iv. One (1) night’s accommodation in Cairns.
v. All accommodation and meals at Staaten River Lodge are included.
vi. Alcohol is not included.
vii. Prize must be taken from Tuesday, 1 October, 2013 to Monday, 7 October,
2013.
viii. All fishing tackle will be provided by Staaten River Lodge. Anglers are
welcome to take their own tackle.
ix. This is a remote location with satellite phone access only.
x. Transfers from Cairns to Staaten River Lodge will be via light aircraft.
xi. Prize is not transferable.
xii. Prize is not redeemable for cash.
h. Total prize package is valued up to AU$16,000.00.
i. The winner will be judged on Monday, 9 September, 2013, by the judging panel at
ALFABS Group, 152 Mitchell Avenue, KURRI KURRI, NSW, 2327. 2
j. The prize winners will be notified on Monday, 9 September, 2013 via
www.michaelguestfishing.com.au. They will also be contacted via telephone and
email.
k. The names of prize winners along with their town and State location will be published
in The Australian on Thursday, 12 September, 2013 and also on
www.michaelguestfishing.com.au website.
l. If the winner declines the prize the Promoter may select another winner at the same
place as the original judging on Tuesday, 10 September, 2013.
m. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database.
The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete
information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission.
n. Each entry becomes the property of the Promoter.
o. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
p. The Promoter of the competition is MGFH Pty Limited, ABN 95 158 392 959 of
43/34-36 Ralph Street, Alexandria, NSW, 2015.
q. Winners of this prize:
i. Acknowledge that boating, flying and associated activities contain elements
of risk and danger;
ii. Acknowledge that the decision to participate in the competition and the
decision to accept the prize is theirs alone;
iii. Accept full responsibility for their own safety and the risks and consequences
of boating, flying and associated activities;
iv. Hold MGFH Pty Ltd, Reel Action TV, ALFABS Group, and Staaten River
Lodge blameless;
v. Release MGFH Pty Ltd, Reel Action TV, ALFABS Group, and Staaten River
Lodge and discharge from any liability; and
vi. Indemnify MGFH Pty Ltd, Reel Action TV, ALFABS Group, and Staaten
River Lodge for any claims, actions, suits and court proceedings brought
against it or any of them arising from the conduct of the Prize Draw.
