TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY INTO THE BT LOST SUPER PROMOTION (THE “PROMOTION”)
1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these terms and conditions; however, to the extent
that there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any other published material, these
terms and conditions will prevail. By participating in this Promotion, each participant fully and unconditionally
agrees and acknowledges that these terms and conditions are binding. This Promotion is a game of skill;
chance plays no part in determining the winner.
2. The promoter is BT Financial Group Pty Limited ABN 38 087 480 331of 275 Kent Street, Sydney, NSW (“BT” or
the “Promoter”), tel: 132 032. The Promoter and its related bodies corporate (as that term is defined in the
Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)) will be known as the “Westpac Group”.
3. The Promotion commences at 9.00am Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on 13 June 2013 and closes at 5pm EST
on 30 June 2013 (the “Promotion Period”).
4. Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years or over who submit a valid entry in accordance with
clause 5 during the Promotion Period (an “Eligible Entrant”). Employees and contractors of the Westpac Group
and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
5. To enter this Promotion, an Eligible Entrant must, during the Promotion Period:
a. access the BT Facebook page at www.facebook.com/BTFinancial (the “Page”);
b. click on the link to the “BT Financial Lost Wheel” Facebook application;
c. complete an entry form with your name and contact details;
d. provide an estimate of how many Super Searches will be conducted during the Promotion Period
(using parameters as set out in detail in clause 12); and
e. follow the prompts to submit your entry form,
each an entry ( “Entry”). No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, or
misdirected Entries.
6. Multiple Entries are not permitted. Eligible Entrants will only receive one entry into the draw for the first valid
Entry submitted during the Promotion Period. All subsequent Entries will be discarded.
7. Entry and continued participation in the Promotion is dependent on Eligible Entrants following and acting in
accordance with the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, which can be viewed at
www.facebook.com/terms.php. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or
associated with, Facebook. Eligible Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the
Promoter and not to Facebook. The information an Eligible Entrant provides will only be used for the purposes
outlined in these Terms and Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this Promotion must be
directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook.
8. There is one prize available, consisting of a holiday package for 4 people to Oahu, Hawaii, USA valued at up to
$10,000. The Prize includes the following:
a. return economy class airfares from the winner's nearest Australian capital city to Honolulu for four (4)
people;
b. five (5) nights twin share accommodation at the Moana Surfrider Westin Resort (or similar) including
breakfast daily for four (4) people; and
c. return transport from the airport to hotels for four (4) people
(the “Prize”). Additional spending money, meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance,
passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal
nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Travel is valid until 31/10/2014 and is
subject to booking and flight availability. Prize is subject to availability when booked, your first choice of dates
may not be available at prize contracted rate. Surcharges may apply due to flight and hotel availability at the
time of booking.
9. The total retail value of all Prizes offered under this Promotion is valued at up to $10,000 at time of publication.
The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in the Prize value. The Prize is not transferable,
exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the
additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
10.As a condition of accepting the Prize, the winner (and their Prize companions) must sign any legal
documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or Prize suppliers in their absolute discretion,
including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
11. The winner (as defined below) and any travelling companions must travel at the same time, must depart from
the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest capital city for flight
departure. Air tickets are for travel on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal
embargos. Flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airline's departure city and their current flight schedule. Frequent Flyer points are not available from any airline in respect of flights awarded under this
Promotion. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, which
may be used in relation to incidental charges (which are not included in the Prize). Once accommodation
vouchers for accommodation awarded in this Promotion are issued they are non-changeable. It is the travellers’
personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports
and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination.
Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the
requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the travellers. The Promoter makes no
representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel
advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices and the web site of
the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Travel must be taken at the time specified by the
Promoter and must coincide with the dates specified in these terms and conditions. If a Winner or any travelling
companion is, for whatever reason, unable to travel on a nominated date, or do not take an element of the Prize
within the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the Prize will be forfeited by the Winner. Cash
will not be awarded in lieu of the Prize or any element thereof.
12. On 1 July 2013 Westpac and BT will calculate the number of Super Searches conducted during the Promotion
Period by analysing all:
a. super searches conducted via SuperSeeker at a Westpac branch;
b. super searches conducted offsite on various promotional days; and
c. BTSFL accounts opened where the customer gives us consent to do a SuperMatch search with the
ATO on their behalf.
The total of all searches revealed using this information will be the final figure of Searches conducted (“Super
Searches Conducted”).
13. The winner of the Prize will be determined at 11:00AM EST on 2 July 2013 at Level 11, 275 Kent Street,
Sydney in the following manner:
a. if one Eligible Entrant correctly guesses the exact amount of Super Searches Conducted, that Eligible
Entrant will win the Prize;
b. if no Eligible Entrant correctly guessed the exact amount of Super Searches Conducted, the winner will
be the Eligible Entrant that guessed closest to the exact amount of Super Searches Conducted, which
will be determined by increasing one number on either side of the exact number of Super Searches
Conducted until the nearest guess is found;
c. If more than one Eligible Entrant guesses the number closest to the the exact amount of Super
Searches Conducted, the winner of the Prize will be determined by sorting the tried entrants in
chronological order with the entrant that guessed the number earlier in the Promotion period being
declared the Winner (the “Winner”).
The allocation of the Prize to the Winner is final and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence in
relation to the Prize or the Promotion.
14. The Winner will be notified by email to the address disclosed in the Entry on 5 July 2013. In the event the
Winner can not be contacted on this day, the Promoter will continue to attempt to contact the Winner up until the
Prize claim deadline outlined in these terms and conditions. The name of the Winner will also be published on
the BT Facebook Page on 5 July 2013. Eligible Entrants are responsible for keeping the Promoter informed of
any changes to their contact information during and immediately following the Promotion Period. To claim the
Prize, the Winner must respond to the notification in the manner that will be set out in the notification letter.
15. The Winner will be given contact details for a travel agent who wil arrange the booking of the Prize.
16. The Winner may be liable to declare the Prize for taxation purposes and will be liable for any tax payable in
respect of a Prize. Eligible Entrants should seek independent financial advice in relation to any tax payable on
the Prize and the potential impact on their personal financial situation prior to entering the Promotion.
17. If any Prize is not claimed by 5 October 2013 the Promoter may conduct such further judging of the Entries
received as may be necessary to apportion all such unclaimed Prize. Any subsequent judging will take place at
the same place as the original Judging, by the same panel of judges. The Winner will be notified by email to the
address disclosed in the Entry on 11 October 2013 and the Winner’s name will be published on the BT
Facebook Page on 11 October 2013. Eligible Entrants are responsible for keeping the Promoter informed of any
changes to their contact information during and immediately following the Promotion Period. To claim the Prize,
the Winner must respond to the notification in the manner that will be set out in the notification letter.
18. Except for guarantees, warranties and conditions implied by law which cannot be excluded, neither the
Promoter nor any other member of the Westpac Group make any guarantees, representations or warranties,
express or implied, regarding the quality or suitability of any prizes awarded under these terms and conditions.19. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any right or remedy, or any
guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by any legislation which cannot lawfully be
excluded or limited. This may include the Corporations Act 2001, the Competition and Consumer Act 2010,
Australian Consumer Law or any equivalent State or Territory legislation. If any guarantee, warranty, term or
conditions implied or imposed under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation in relation
to any prizes awarded under these terms and conditions cannot be excluded (a “Non-Excludable Provision”)
and the Promoter is able to limit the remedy for a breach of the Non-Excludable Provision, then the liability of
the Promoter and all members of the Westpac Group for breach of the Non-Excludable Provision is limited to
one or more of the following at the Promoter's option:
a. the replacement of the prize or the supply of an equivalent prize,
b. the repair of the prize,
c. the supplying of the prize again,
d. the payment of the cost of replacing the prize or of acquiring an equivalent prize,
e. the payment of the cost of having the prize repaired; or
f. the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.
20. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter and all other members of the Westpac Group expressly
disclaim liability for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss)
or for any personal injury which is suffered or sustained in connection with any participant’s participation in this
Promotion or the acceptance of any Prize. The Winner indemnifies the Promoter and all members of the
Westpac Group against any liability, injury, loss or damage which may be suffered, incurred or sustained by the
Promoter or any member of the Westpac Group arising out of, relating to, or in any way connected with, any act
or omission (including negligence) by the Winner, or its use of the Prize, or its breach of these terms and
conditions.
21. The Promoter collects personal information from all participants in order to conduct the Promotion. If the
information requested is not provided, the participant may not participate in the Promotion or claim a Prize and
their entry may be discarded. It is a condition of entry into the Promotion that the Winner consents to the
publication of their name and city of origin in any advertisements or articles relating to the Promotion or the
Prize and participates in any media releases which may include photographs and film footage or video of the
Winner by the Promoter or any other member of the Westpac Group. By entering this promotion, participants
consent to the use of their names and likenesses in this manner. The Promoter’s treatment and storage of
personal information will be handled in accordance with all applicable laws in Australia. The Promoter’s privacy

you for marketing purposes.
22. If this Promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason (including but not limited to failure or
malfunction of any computer equipment by reason of infection by computer virus, power failure, bugs,
tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical failures or any other causes which corrupt or affect the
administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion), the Promoter reserves the right
in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who undermines the integrity or fair running of the Promotion for
other entrants, including by tampering with the entry process, and, after consulting with the relevant legislative
authorities, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. [/font]
