The Hi-Fi is giving you the chance to win a double pass to see the new film, The Look of Love, in theatres from June 27th.

After TRISTRAM SHANDY and THE TRIP, Michael Winterbottom and Steve Coogan team up once more to chronicle the outrageous true story of Paul Raymond; a legendary gentleman’s club owner, erotic publisher, and one-time richest man in Britain.

With an eye for business opportunities and a taste for beautiful women, Paul Raymond (Coogan), realised early on that sex sells. Starting his career with a mind-reading act, Raymond soon realised that the audience were more interested in watching his beautiful assistant, and that they liked it even more if she was topless. So in 1958 he opened a gentlemen’s nightclub that was so hot no man could resist it. A huge success, it became the cornerstone Raymond’s Soho empire which included a men’s magazine, nude theatre productions and millions in real estate and property.

Raymond’s personal life was as scandalous as his shows. His marriage to Jean Bradley (Anna Friel), a nude dancer, choreographer, business partner, and mother of his children, fell apart when he met Fiona Richmond (Tamsin Egerton), a glamour model who became a pin-up star of his shows and magazines. The love of his life, however, was his daughter Debbie (Imogen Poots), who followed in his footsteps into a world of excess and eventually tragedy.

THE LOOK OF LOVE is a modern day King Midas story; Raymond enjoyed immense wealth and all the excesses that swinging Soho had to offer, but ultimately at the cost of all those close to him.
