Miranda ---Series Three Comedienne Miranda Hart returns with series three of her award winning series. Miranda is a comedy writer and actress and her sitcom has firmly established her as one of the UK’s leading comedians, winning many awards. If you are familiar with her first two series you will know Miranda as a very tall [6ft 1] girl, who tends to be awkward in all social situations, which makes for some hilarious viewing. Miranda is a constant disappointment to her mother who just wants her to get a proper job and a husband. It does not matter what Miranda attempts in life it always seems to fall flat, quite literally. I really enjoyed the first two series which were hilarious, but felt a bit disappointed in this new series, although it has all the same actors we know from past episodes, I felt everyone just tried too hard to be funny and some of the comedy scenes just didn’t work. I feel the falling over and silly talk and walks have now been done to death . However, Miranda although patchy, will still give you a genuine laugh Six episodes on this DVD that each run for approx 29 mins . Released in Australia June 6th. |
