Any entry not complying with these terms & conditions is invalid. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms & conditions. The Promoters are Air New Zealand Ltd of Level 11, 151 Clarence Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000 (ABN 70 000 312 685) ("Promoter"). This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. The promotion commences at 9:00 (AEDT time) on Thursday 23rd May 2013 and concludes at 11.59am (AEDT time) on Friday 28th June 2013 ("Promotion Period"). Entry is only open to Australian residents 18 years of age or over who comply with the entry criteria in accordance with these terms and conditions. Directors and employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, participating agents and their agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of each entry. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process. To be eligible for entry in the judging, participants must:(a) Visit www.facebook.com/airnewzealandaustralia and ‘like’ the page.(b) Entrants must answer the question in 25 words or less why you and your mate are the perfect pair to take the Wellington arts and music scene by storm!’ The entrant then selects a Facebook friend. Once selected they can share the promotion with friends. So that this promotion can automatically pull the entrants’ friends into a list they must select ‘Allow’ when the Facebook Permission Request box pops up.(c) The entrant must provide their first name, last name, contact number and email in the relevant online fields. They must then accept the terms and conditions and click the ‘enter’ button to submit their entry. All entries will be judged based on the content and creativity of the answer to the question in clause 5 above. One (1) winner deemed the most deserving and creative will be chosen by 17:00 (AEST time) on Tuesday 2nd July 2013 at Level 11, 151 Clarence Street, Sydney NSW 2000. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. The result of the judging is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The name of the prizewinner and their answer to the entry question may be published across Air New Zealand Australia social media platforms (including Facebook and Twitter). The winning entry will win: Two (2) return Economy “The Works” airfares flying from the nearest Australian airport Air New Zealand or Virgin Australia operate from to a New Zealand airport. Prize is inclusive of government taxes and surcharges. Prize will include two (2) night’s accommodation (hotel to be determined, dependant on travel dates), a dining voucher (restaurant to be determined, dependant on travel dates), cable car tickets, Te Papa entry and Airport transfers. The prize will also include tickets to the Andy Warhol exhibition but only if the winner can travel before 25th August 2013 due to the limited period the exhibition is available for public viewing in Wellington. Travel must be completed between 8th July 2013 and 12th December 2013 (some blackouts may apply around public holidays or peak travel periods) subject to availability. Prize must be redeemed by 12th December 2013. Tickets must be booked as return flights with all passengers travelling on the same flights. The maximum total value of the prize is up to AUD$5,000 inc. GST (depending on point of departure and point of arrival). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation of the value of the prize. If the prize winner does not accept the prize, the prize will be forfeited. Proof of identification, age and residence may be required in order to claim the prize. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated. The prize is not transferable to another person or exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed as cash, other goods and services or sold to a third party. Prizes that are unused will be forfeited and no compensation will be paid in lieu of that element of the prize. Tickets will not be exchanged for another destination. Outside of the components specifically stated in clause 8, spending money, meals & refreshments, taxes, surcharges, travel insurance, fuel, passports, visa requirements, transport to and from departure city, event merchandise, additional transfers and all other ancillary costs are the sole responsibility of the winner. If the winner cannot travel in accordance to these terms and conditions, the prize will be forfeited. If for any reason the winner does not take an element of the prize during the stated period, and on the conditions, stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. Flights will be made by the Promoter and confirmed by email. Flight schedules are subject to change without notice. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a Prize with a substitute Prize of equal or greater value and the Prize Winner will be notified accordingly subject to state regulations. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
