ABOUT THE COMPETITION
Who doesn’t love dogs, cats, or both? For those who say you don’t, we dare you to look at a picture of a Labrador puppy and not ‘squee’ a little bit (at least internally). Here’s your chance to find out more about what makes dogs and cats tick in National Geographic: The Science of Cats and Dogs.

They've been domesticated for thousands of years and are prevalent in every society on earth but what makes cats and dogs the animals we know today? How did the modern cat come to make the giant leap from wild predator to favoured pet. How did humans' evolutionary manipulation create more than 400 breeds of dog? This fascinating two-part series shows how our favourite animal friends come to be.

We have 10 packs to give away containing National Geographic: The Science of Cats and Dogs. And in case that wasn’t enough adorable animal action, the packs will also contain National Geographic: Wild Babies, where you can see how super cute baby animals learn to adapt and thrive in their natural habitat.

1. Competition opens on 4 July 2013. 2. Entries must be received by 4 August 2013. Entries received after this time will not be eligible for consideration by the Judges. 3. The winners will be selected by 9 August 2013. 4. Employees and immediate families of Madman Entertainment Pty Ltd or Funtastic Limited are not eligible to enter. 5. The winners will have the most original and inventive answer to the question, as determined by the Judges in their absolute discretion. 6. This is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winners. 7. The Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 8.Ten (10) winners will each receive:

9. The winner will be notified by email upon draw and publicly listed on Madman.com.au by 30 August 2013. 10. In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize is forfeited. 13.
