Three copies of Stateovmind’s latest EP ‘Better than Postcards’

Stateovmind is a hip hop artist from the Nation’s Capital who in a little over 12 months has gone from making music in his bedroom, to supporting artists he grew up listening to. In late 2011 he released his well-received debut EP Something for Nothing.

In mid 2012 Stateovmind took out the triple j Unearthed Groovin The Moo competition and was given the opportunity to play at the Canberra slot of the festival. He continued to build on these successes and has since shared stages with a raft of national and international touring artists including the Hilltop Hoods, 360, Def Wish Cast, Pharoahe Monch and Public Enemy.

In 2013 Stateovmind returns with a new eight-track EP Better than Postcards; mixing descriptive language, a booming soundscape and hypnotic harmonies. The lead single Picture This is complimented by a colourful and emotive video clip, put together by highly regarded photographer Rush (Rush Photography).
