RACQ Dining Rewards Promotion - Terms and Conditions
This competition is a promotion run by The Royal Automobile Club of Queensland Limited ABN 72 009 660 575 ("Promoter").
Information on the Prize and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions. Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions are ineligible. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The competition is open to residents of Queensland who are over the age of 18 years of age, and who are current financial members of the Promoter at the time the competition is drawn.
Non financial members of the Promoter and the employees (and their immediate families) of:
the Promoter;
the Promoter’s related entities; and
agents of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.
The competition commences 8.30am (AEST), 15 July 2013 and closes 12 midnight (AEST), 3 November 2013 (the "Competition Period").
Entrants shall enter this competition during the Competition Period by:
logging onto www.racq.com.au/diningrewards;
registering to participate in the RACQ Dining Rewards Program (the "Program") by registering at least one eligible credit card with the Program ("Register"); or by
using their registered credit card at a Participating Merchant (a "Qualifying Transaction").
Entrants will receive one entry when they Register and one additional entry every time they make a Qualifying Transaction during the Competition Period.
For the purposes of these terms and conditions:
"Business Day" means a day that is not a weekend or public holiday in Queensland.
"Participating Merchant" means  businesses who participate in the Program, full details available at the following link: www.racq.com.au/diningrewards
"Prize" means:
a dinner for the winner and their guest at a restaurant of the winner’s choice anywhere in the world (Nominated Restaurant);
two return economy flights to the city in which the Nominated Restaurant is located for the winner and their guest, departing from Brisbane Queensland and flying with an airline, nominated by the Promoter at the time of booking;
accommodation for the winner and their guest for five (5) nights in the city in which the Nominated Restaurant is located, at a hotel of not less than 3 stars, nominated by the Promoter at the time of booking. 
The Prize is subject to the following conditions:
there is one  Prize only with a total value of $10,000.00. Should any of the  Prize Components set out in paragraph 8 e) (" Prize Components") together exceed the value of $10,000.00, the Promoter reserves the right to remove the relevant component(s) from inclusion in the  Prize;
the Prize must be booked by 31 August 2014 and is valid only for travel taken prior to 6 September 2014. If the winner does not book and complete each of the  Prize Components prior to these dates, the winner will be said to have forfeited their Prize;
the Winner must book each of the  Prize Components through the Promoter. The Promoter shall not honour any bookings made by any third party who is not the Promoter or has not been nominated by the Promoter in writing;
 Prize Components may alter at the discretion of the Promoter and are subject to availability;
The Prize is as stated and does not include, for example, travel insurance, spending money and transport to or from the Nominated Restaurant from the place of accommodation. All other ancillary costs not expressly stated in paragraph 8 e) above are the responsibility of the  Prize winner.
The Prize shall be drawn at 4:00pm AEST on 7 November 2013 at RACQ Head Office, Marketing Department, 2649 Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains 4113 and shall be drawn from all valid entries received during the Competition Period. The first eligible entry drawn shall win the Prize.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner of each of the draw will be notified by telephone or email using the telephone number and email address provided by the winner at the time they Registered. The Promoter will not be liable should they be unable to contact a winner due to incorrect, incomplete, or illegible contact details being provided by the winner at the time of completing their entry into the competition.
If a competition winner is unable to be contacted within one week of the draw a redraw will occur. In the event that a redraw is required it will be held at 4:20pm (AEST) 8 business days after the date of the initial draw at RACQ, Marketing Department, 2649 Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains 4113 and the redraw winner will be notified by phone or email using the telephone number and email address they provide when they Registered.
Prize is subject to availability at the time of booking. Blackout dates apply for some Prize components.
Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Prize cannot be sold and must be redeemed by the winner of the Prize, being the person nominated at the time that entry into the competition is completed. Prize may not be used in conjunction with any other offer.
All entries shall become the property of the Promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
The personal information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the competition and managing the Program, and to periodically keep entrants informed about the goods and services provided by the Promoter, its related entities and its service providers. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their personal information for the purposes described in this clause. The Promoter may use or disclose entrant’s personal information to related entities or other appropriate third parties in accordance with its Privacy Policy available at www.racq.com.au.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by the Promoter as intended, whether because of computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which in the Promoter’s opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, the Promoter may in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the competition, subject to the approval of the gaming authority in Queensland as may be required.
The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking a Prize or entering into this competition. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or services offered as a Prize. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the winner, and where applicable, to any persons accompanying the winner.
