Terms and conditions


 1.Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.

 2.Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older. Employees and their immediate families of NewsLifeMedia and its agencies associated with this competition are not eligible to enter this competition.

 3.To enter participants must answer the following question in 25 words or less: “What is your favourite side dish?” To enter, participants must fill in the entry form on bestrecipes.com.au. Entrants need to login or register membership to bestrecipes.com.au to enter. Registration is Free. The cost of accessing the promotional website will be dependent on the entrant’s individual Internet Service Provider.

 4.Illegible, incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.

 5.The competition commences on 8th August 2013 at 9am (AEST) and concludes on 11th September 2013 at 9.00am (AEST) (“Entry Period”). Multiple entries per person are permitted. The winners will be notified by phone within 7 days of the judging.

 6.This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on creativity. The best entry as determined by the judges, will win a prize. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 7.The competition will be judged on 23rd September at 14:00 (AEST) at NewsLifeMedia, 180 Bourke Road, Alexandria NSW 2015. The winners will be notified by phone or email within 7 working days of the judging, and the prizes will be delivered to the address supplied in the winner’s entry form. There will be 5 winners selected for this competition.

 8.Entry details remain the property of NewsLifeMedia. The name and details of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by NewsLifeMedia, unless the winner otherwise notifies NewsLifeMedia at the time of accepting the prize.

 9.Any entry that is made on behalf of an Entrant without the consent of the Entrant by a third party will be invalid.

 10.There will be 5 individual winners. Each prize package consists of:

 11.Total prize value is $98.90 (including GST). Total prize pool value is $494.50 (including GST).

 12.Entries must be received by Super Food Ideas during the Entry Period. Entries received after the end date and time will not count towards the competition. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

 13.Any individual component of the Prize cannot be transferred or be redeemed for cash, regardless of whether the winner uses the component of the Prize, in whole or in part.

 14.In the event that the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond NewsLifeMedia control, NewsLifeMedia may substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value. Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.

 15.NewsLifeMedia shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence) as a result of entering this competition, accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

 16.Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.

 17.NewsLifeMedia reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of NewsLifeMedia, whose decision is final. NewsLifeMedia reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.

 18.NewsLifeMedia collects your information to include you in this competition and will disclose the information to others who help us run the competition. We may also use the information to assist us in improving our goods and services and to contact you in the future in regard to our other goods and services.
