Win the BBC's DVD boxed set of 'The Thick of It'

"CityNews" has three boxed sets to give away of series 1-4 of "The Thick of It" (valued at $84.99 each), an irreverent, brilliantly sweary and painfully funny BBC political comedy that smashes its way through the corridors of power in a bulldozer of hilarious farce and sharp satire.

How to enter

In 25 words or less, tell us which Australian politician you'd assign the rampaging principal character Malcolm to and why. Humour is welcome, though not an advantage.

Terms and Conditions

1. All entrants must be over the age of 18 and reside in the ACT or its immediate region. To enter, log on to www.citynews.com.au/win and in 25 words or less, tell us which Australian politician you'd assign the rampaging principal character Malcolm to and why. Humour is welcome, though not an advantage. Include your name, address and email details. The judge’s decision will be final. 2. The competition opens on Monday, August 26. 3. The competition closes midday, Monday, September 16, 2013. 4. The competition will be judged midday, Monday, September 16. 5. Judging will take place at the offices of CityNews, Level 1, Bailey’s Corner, 143 London Circuit, Canberra ACT. 6. The prize consists of: One of three sets of the complete "The Thick of It, series1-4", valued at $84.99 each. 7. The winners will be contacted by email and will be announced in the edition of “CityNews” on September 19, 2013. 8. The promoter of the competition is Macquarie Publishing Pty Limited. ABN 23 116 889 813 9. Should any winners be ineligible, or fail to collect the prizes subsequent winners will be judged from the original entries. The winner will be notified by email and details published in the next available edition of CityNews. 10. Prizes must be collected from the Civic office of "CityNews" within a month of winning. We apologise, but postage is not available.
