Terms and Conditions
 
The Promoter is Ray’s Outdoors Pty Ltd A.C.N. 142 927 642 of 751 Gympie Road, Lawnton, Queensland 4501 (the “Headquarters”).
Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.

Entry is only open to Australian residents who have “liked” the Ray’s Outdoors FaceBook page.  Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.

The Competition commences on 8:30 a.m., 1 November 2013 and closes on 11:59 p.m. (AEST) 17 November 2013 (“Promotional Period”). All entries must be received by the Promoter on its FaceBook page within the Promotional Period.

Each entrant may submit more than one (1) entry into the Competition provided that each entry is unique to the other entries.
To enter the Competition, the entrant must:
7.1.      ‘Like’ the Ray’s Outdoors FaceBook page;
7.2.      supply a valid email address;
7.3.      take a photo that shows how much the entrant loves camping and an explanation of why he/she is Oztent’s number one fan; and
7.4.      upload the photo and explanation to Ray’s Outdoor’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rays-Outdoors/177038319004464?fref=ts (noting that any other form of entry will not be accepted and entrants who qualify for entry will be entered into the Competition when the online entry is submitted).
 
The Prize and Notifications

The Prize is one (1) limited edition Oztent JV Signature tent, valued at $1650.
The winning entry will be seleted at 2pm (AEST) on 18 November 2013 at the Promoter’s Headquarters. The winner will be selected by our panel of judges based on the creativity of the entry submitted.  The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter will notify the winner in writing or by phone.
If the winner fails to claim and collect the prize within two (2) weeks of the Promoter notifying the winner of the win, or the winner’s entry is deemed invalid by the Promoter, the winner is deemed to have forfeited and abandoned the prize.  The Promoter will select another winner at the Promoter’s Headquarters.  The Promoter will notify the alternate winner by phone or in writing.
If the prize is unavailable or otherwise unable to be supplied, the Promoter may substitute the prize with a prize of equal value, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. 
If the winner is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to the parent or guardian of the winner.
The Promoter reserves the right to require the winner to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned by the Promoter throughout the duration of the prize.  The winner will not be entitled to any fee for such participation or co-operation.
General Conditions
The prize is valued at the recommended retail price and is not available with any other offer.  The prize cannot be transferred, exhanged, or redeemed for cash.
The Promoter is entitled to verify the validity of entries and the indentity entrants/winner(s), and to disqualify any entrant/winner who submits an entry that is contrary to these Terms and Conditions, or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage is not a waiver of those rights.
Incomplete, indecipherable, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive and/or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. Any entry which contains objectionable content, profanity, insults, inflammatory or defamatory content will also be deemed invalid.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any personal injury, death, loss and damage; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including but not limited to any liability arising from any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction; any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control; any variation of the prize value; any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; or redemption or use of a prize.   
If the Competition is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter is entitled to, the fullest extent permitted by law: disqualify any entrant; or subject to any direction from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties and if required, to the Australian regulatory authorities.  Entry is conditional on providign this information.
By submitting an entry:
22.1.   you warrant and agree that:
22.1.1.      all your entries become the property of the Promoter;
22.1.2.      the photograph is your own original work and the photograph will not infringe the intellectual property rights of any other person or parties;
22.1.3.      you will forgo any rights you have in relation to the photograph, and assign all rights, titles, interest, intellectual property rights in the entries and/or photograph to the Promoter;
22.1.4.      Ray’s Outdoors may use, reproduce and publish the photograph for any purpose, in perpetuity and throughout the world and the entrant will not be entitled to any fee for such use;
22.1.5.      you indemnify and keep the Promoter indemnified against all liability the Promoter incurs of and incidental to any claim by any third parties against the Promoter for the infringement of the third parties’ intellectual property rights; and
22.1.6.      the photograph has not been digitally altered or manipulated in anyway.
22.2.   entrants expressly consent to the Promoter using:
22.2.1.      the entrant’s entry (either in part or in full), name, likeness, image and/or voice to be reproduced and/or published in any medium for an unlimited period without renumeration for the purpose of promoting this Competition, the Promoter’s business, and any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter; and
22.2.2.      their personal information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research, and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant.  Personal information will only be used in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.
The Promoter will endeavour to provide the entrant with an option to opt out of receipt of such communications every time the Promoter contacts the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
